I turned around seeing Gally, "Can we talk?" He asked. I nodded he took my hand leading me away from everyone.
He sat down and I follow in suit, "How are you feeling?" He asked. "Overwhelmed with happiness.... also sadness" I said looking at the people write names on the rock.
"I'm happy we came here..... but for what it took to get here...... I guess is the sad part." I mentioned he nodded agreeing, "But we're free and I'll never let anything touch or hurt you ever again." He promised looking at me.
I smiled holding his hand, "Newt told me something." I looked at him with my held tilt listening.
"He said you wanted a family. I know I did things that were not the best a father probably, would've done. Although, I never was really raised by my father; I don't remember him. But, I know I can be a good father, to the best of my ability. I know I've hurt people in the past. I know I hurt you. But do you still love me enough to marry me?" Gally questions while staring at me.
I looked at him in shock, "If you say no I understand. Believe me I do. But just know I'll do anything to keep you safe, I know you want kids. I want that too." He said looking at me.
"Gally, I love you so much. Even before the maze from what I can remember. You meant so much to me that when I thought you died, I was broken, I felt my heart being ripped out of my chest, it was hard for me to move on. I always thought that one day, I would be able to marry you and live our lives freely out of the maze." I spoke.
"I'm proud for the man you've come. We all have our redemptions in life, we all have choices. It's the path we choose for what we want in life. So what I'm trying to say is Gally I love you so much, and Yes, I do want to marry you Gally." I said looking at him.
He smiled before pulling out something, "I made this.... When I was looking for you." He said looking at me. It was a silver ring with a gem in it, and had a date in it, "How did you? What day is this?" I asked. "My friend taught me and it's the date we met." he smiled. "It's beautiful." I looked at him with tears forming, He slowly put it on my finger before kissing me passionately.
He pulled gently away before looking at everyone he took my hand taking me to what used to be my room but now ours.
He laid me down on the bed gently before kissing me. "I love you so much." Gally looked at me.
"I love you so much too Gally." I looked at him with so much love, that I'm glad to finally call him mine.
