Ch.13

"GET OUTTA HERE!" Minho screams "RUN!" I kept running the best I could dragging Newt.

The others were following "go go go go!" Thomas urged.

I heard weird noises the people made. I knew now they weren't people.

"Thomas!" I shouted I wanted him to be with us. I ran up the escalator with Newt, the others following, "Thomas, Minho, what the hell are those things?!?" Travis yelled.

"I don't know. Just keep going!" Thomas yelled.

I was really getting out of breath, pain shot through my foot which made me groan.

"Move move" I felt a hand on my lower back seeing Thomas usher me to move quicker.

"Where do we go?!" Travis yells.

I was behind with Newt watching Travis and the others past us.

Thomas stopped I almost ran into him but he put his arm over me protectively.

The person ran over to us weirdly "Aris no!" Travis yells.

Aris knocks the person out from under him. The person started flying.

He looked disgusting and not human.

You could clearly see his veins popping out of him like some disease.

The person flew to us from the impact, I moved out of the way quickly.

I backed up on the escalator feeling trapped, "McKenna!" Thomas calls behind me.

Another person tries attacking Thomas behind me.

"Thomas!" I screeched.

I had an idea and I hit the person with my flashlight hard.

The other guy almost attacked me but Thomas kicked him and he flew back.

"Minho come on!" Thomas kept pulling me with him but I wanted to make sure Newt was okay.

Newt finally caught up, I grabbed ahold of his hand tightly.

"Where the hell are we going to go?!" Travis calls out we were all scared.
I didn't want to die like this. To whatever those were.

Everyone was running the fastest we ever have. "We gotta find a way out of here!" We were on a little balcony running down the hall, I heard a noise of glass breaking, in result I stayed close to Newt confused while running.

I felt something on me making me scream, as I landed on the ground by Newt.

I rolled on the ground with the person trying to fight them off, while I was screaming "NEWT!" Newt screamed my name "MCKENNA!"
Newt runs over trying to get the person off when another tackled him.
I heard the others shouting our names.

"Newt!" I struggled to hold the person back he was really strong. I wanted to help Newt more than myself.

Thomas suddenly ran over kicking the one guy on Newt, which made him hit mine from the impact  and fall off the balcony.

I gasped really loud while shaking Newt gripped my hand tightly, pulling me up and ran. "McKenna, Newt you good?" Thomas asks.

"Yeah.." I whispered almost in tears.

"Thanks Tommy!" Newt calls out.

Newt drags me back with him, I looked ahead seeing a lot of them chasing after us... shit.....

I ran with the others trying to keep up.

"Come on Newt and McKenna!"
Thomas ushers me with him "through here, through here!" Minho yells.

We all ran down the hallway"guys where are we going?" Travis asks.

"Okay, run go!" I yelled looking behind me while running.

Winston had us covered I looked seeing more running to us.

"Just keep going!" I yelled.

All of us continued to run. Please don't let us die this way! I prayed.

"It's a dead end!" Minho yells.
"Get us out of here Thomas!" Travis screamed.

"This one!" Thomas yells back and starts kicking the door.

I held onto Newt panicking.

"I'll hold them back!" Winston calls out.

"Harder!" I screamed at Thomas.

I heard gunshots seeing Winston shooting them.

"Get the door open!" Winston screamed.
Newt, Thomas and Minho were all kicking the doors.

Frypan ran up to the door, busting it open.

Thank you Frypan! I thought.
"Come on let's go!" I yelled.

I ran out taking Newts hand.

The others followed, "everyone through!" Thomas urged.

I heard a scream, I turned back seeing Winston on the ground attacked by one.

"NO! WINSTON!" I screamed, running over I grabbed ahold of his free hand.

"Help me!" I yelled.

Thomas came over with Minho trying to shut the door.
Newt and Travis helped me pull Winston.

I watched as they kept scratching Winston's skin off with their nails making me want to throw up.

"NO!" I yelled.

I finally pulled him out along with the others.
