Ch.8

Thomas POV
"We gotta go we gotta get McKenna we gotta go right now!" I panicked I tried going to the door.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Minho asks.

"What's wrong with McKenna?" Winston asks.

"What do you mean we gotta go?" Newt asks me.

"Come on! We gotta go! They're coming! Come on!" I kept panicking while trying to find stuff like a mattress to put against the door.

"They're coming for us!" I yelled.

"Paige she's still alive" I panicked.

"What happened in there is McKenna okay?" Newt asks.

"Aris what happened?" Frypan asks Aris.

"Thomas. Can you just calm down and tell me what's going on with her?! And talk to us!" Newt yells.

"She's still alive" I yelled back.

"Who's she? Mckenna?" Newt asks.

"Ava!" I said shoving the mattress in front of the door.

"Ava?" Newt asks.

"She's going after McKenna tomorrow! We gotta get her out!" I yelled.

"Will you just turn around and talk to us!" Newt said worried.

"ITS WICKED!" I screamed.

"It's still wicked! They're after McKenna Ava is her mom and she wants to erase McKennas memories! Of the glade and not remember us"'I said panicking.

"It's always been wicked! We have to get her out! We have to leave!" I grabbed another mattress to help.

Newt came up to me "Thomas what did you see?" He asks "what did they tell about her?"

"Ava said she's her mom and she's going to get McKenna back. No matter what. She's going to remember everything but us" I said quickly.

"Alright everyone we have to go now" Newt finally was panicking and we all went in the vents quickly.

We all had a plan it was to find McKenna and leave. I hope she still had her memory.

I prayed she did.

We got out of the vents in a hall way I got out quickly as the others soon followed.

"Come on come on!" I urged them to hurry up.
"Let's go!" "You guys go ahead there's something I gotta do" Aris said.

"What are you talking about? Tell me it's important" I mentioned.

"You guys wanna get out of here right and save that girl? Just go!" Aris said.

"I'll go with him" Winston volunteered.

"Winston go" I ordered I started running down the hallway. "Come on!"

"You sure we can trust this kid?" Minho yells.

"You don't want to know where we'd be without him." I stopped seeing a doctor.

The women stopped staring at us "what are you kids doing out?" She asked.

The alarm system went off I looked up and then at her again.I forced her to come with me "show me where McKenna is now!" I ordered she reluctantly followed scared.

We ran to a hallway but Frypan stopped seeing a guard coming "freeze!" The man yells at us.

"Stay where you are!" The man starts shooting I dragged the women with us to hide around the corner.

"He's shooting at us!" We ran down the hallway but Minho stopped.

"Minho!" I called out.

"What the hell are you doing?" I screamed.

Minho took off running "MINHO!"

Minho screamed while running to the end of the hallway the guy came out of no where and he ran his knee into him hard knocking him down when he was against the wall.

We all ran over to check on Minho "shit"
I grabbed the gun the man had for a weapon.

"Okay. Let's go. Come on! Let's go!" I ordered the women.

The women opened the door to a room but i bursted through the door pointing the gun "WHERE IS SHE?!" I screamed.

Newt went around looking quickly.

The man held his hands up "WHERE IS SHE?!" Newt screamed at him.

I turned my head seeing a curtain I gave Minho my gun and I went over quickly I pulled it back Newt was right behind me.

McKenna was laying there with tubes attached to her nose.

I shook her awake slightly "McKenna please wake up" I said calmly.

I played with her hair "remember me please" I whispered.

She woke up staring at me "Thomas" she said I sighed of relief as they haven't done anything to her majorly.

"What did they do to you?" Newt whispers grabbing her hand.

"Newt" McKenna smiled.
