Ch.26

"Tell Gally, and Newt that I loved them and that I always have. Please Thomas." I said looking at him.

The door opened I looked over seeing Janson.

"I admit Travis you had me fooled. I thought we were friends" Travis went around the corner making a noise.

Thomas stayed with me trying to move me around, "maybe it's just in your nature to betray the people closest to you"

Travis made another noise Janson shot in that direction but missed.

Thomas kept ahold of my wounds. "Come on! I already got McKenna twice you're next!" He laughed. "Let's not prolong this"

"We both know there's no way out of here." Janson said.
Thomas kept moving me as I felt weaker like I couldn't breathe. My ears were beginning to ring again, blood was dripping from my mouth.

"Let's not make this more painful than it needs to be." "Thomas" Janson calls.

"McKenna" "Travis"

I watched Janson catch Travis, Travis backed up on the ground. "We have to do something" I mumbled.

"I think you have something of mine." Janson said.

Travis stood up holding the serum, "not that."

"Where are they?" He asked.

"Just take it. Leave them alone!" Travis said.

"What is it with you three? You think they are so special? They are lab rats they both were born with the gift. They never had to fight for it they never earned it. They don't deserve it."

"Maybe. But it's his" Travis said. "what about  you Thomas?!? What do you and McKenna have to say?!" He yelled. "Don't you have enough blood on your hands already? You might not have been able to shoot him, but I can. Okay . Fine have it your way" Thomas threw something large at Janson, "JANSON!" He called out; but missed hitting the glass.

Thomas stepped back close to me, Janson pointed his gun at us.

"Missed you little shits."  "Did I?" Thomas asks.
The glass slowly cracked, "oh shit" Janson realizes, I watched as the cranks jumped on top of Janson.
The cranks attacked him immediately, Thomas got me and helped me up.

"Come on! McKenna come on!" Travis helped me also.
Travis looked around, "this way!"I struggled walking everything was blurry.

"Come on Mckenna!" Thomas encouraged.

I clutched my stomach groaning, Travis opened the door leading us to upstairs the place below was on fire.

Travis opened the door, I almost stumbled to the ground "no a little further!" Travis yelled.

Thomas dragged me almost against his and Travis weight.

I watched seeing the city being burnt down. This was how I was dying. This is it. I thought.

"I- I can't" I said shaking my head gasping for breath.

We looked around seeing everywhere blocked off.

Travis tried taking me back to the door but it got on fire.

Thomas dragged me to a spot before setting me down "I'm sorry." Thomas said to me with tears falling.

Thomas held me close to his chest, "I'm sorry" I whispered back.

Travis looked at us, I could tell he was trying not to cry. I coughed hard making the pain worse.

I started sobbing, "I'm sorry" I whispered again.

Thomas held me close to him sobbing, Thomas lifted my chin gently and soon kissed me passionately, I kissed him back.

I heard a loud noise, looking over seeing the Berg.

"Thomas" I said feeling myself smile.

Travis helped me stand up with Thomas.

I stumbled a few times, The berg turned around opening the back end.
Travis almost dropped me on the left side, "I got you, I got you!" Thomas yelled he picked me up trying to carry me to the berg.

I watched the door open seeing Gally and everyone reaching their hands out.

"MCKENNA!" Gally yelled.

Thomas got me closer to the berg, he set me down, "you first I said I'm not going if you don't" he shook his head.
"Please" I said he sighed,  before jumping on they caught him. He reached his hand out towards me.

I tried grabbing Gallys, but I stumbled when the building behind us collapsed.

"MCKENNA!" They all yelled. I tried again reaching for Gally.

"Come on!" Travis yelled he picked me up, "reach! Reach!" Minho and Thomas yelled.

Travis threw me and I got caught by Thomas and Gally.

Gally held me tightly, too him checking me. "TRAVIS!" I yelled.

I reached my hand out, "come on!" He stared at me before looking at the building it fell on the building Travis was on.

"Travis!" I yelled he looked back at me, "PLEASE!" I yelled.

He stared at me with tears in his eyes, "TRAVIS! I forgive you!" I yelled.
Travis looked at me then at the building "TRAVIS!" I yelled.
He soon jumped,I grabbed ahold of his arm the others helping him up on the berg, the building soon collapsed

I watched the building fall. That could've been us. Was all I thought.

The berg flew up high, I stared at the building when the others tried getting me to lay down "McKenna" Gally said being worried.

My shirt was being lifted up, I felt multiple hands trying to help me at once.
Gally put his hands on my face while Thomas held my wound with Minho.

I looked to my left seeing Newt before everything went black.
