Stephen was still in the garden with Abigail when Alan went to find him
''Stephen there is someone here to see you'' he said to him ''Prepare yourself my boy it will be a huge shock but a great one''
Edna, Albert, and Tyson dropped Sean off at a bus stop in the middle of a corn field
''You can't leave me here'' Sean said while he sat on the bench
''Well there will be a bus along soon'' Edna told him with a smile ''Don't worry you won't have to wait long''
''But its Christmas day? I bet there are no buses on Christmas day''
''Well trust us there are and they run very frequently too!''
Edna, Albert, and Tyson said goodbye to Sean and drove off leaving him at the bus stop. If only he still had his lower legs he would run as fast as he could and not sit and wait there. He was very uneasy about staying at this weird and remote bus stop. But he knew he couldn't get far on his stumps so he sat there and hoped that a bus or a car would come soon. He was still very anxious and was wondering if they were really genuine about this. In the back of his mind he had this horrible feeling that they were either playing some sort of trick or they would change their mind and come back for him soon
Anyway he felt vulnerable, small, and scared without his legs
Stephen walked in to the house and nearly fainted when he saw Joe
''Hi Stephen'' Joe said full of emotion
Stephen was also very emotional now ''Joe its really you?'' he said
''Yes its really me''
Stephen ran to hug him with joy. Abi and the others were also full of joy to see Joe alive
''This is incredible'' Stephen said in tears of happiness ''This is the miracle i prayed for''
''I'm very happy to see you again'' Joe said
Stephen was happy too of course. But suddenly he became a bit angry and confused
''Joe i am happy that you're alive'' he said ''But i need an explanation for this. How come you're alive when we were told you had died and why did you stay away all this time? I can't understand this at all''
''Yes i can explain really'' Joe said ''And of course you all deserve an explanation for what happened''
Sean was still at the bus stop when, to his relief. he saw a car driving along and anxiously he jumped off the bench into the road and waved at the car to get its attention and to get the driver to stop
