On January 2, The Sugdens leave Emmerdale Farm. Sean Rossi returns for Dave Glover's funeral.

The next day, Don Brennan sends a threatening letter to Mike Baldwin over being conned out of the garage months ago.

Three days later, Jack Osborne discovers that he has a six year old daughter, conceived during an affair with Dawn Cunningham. Stephen Reid returns to the street over his potential business partnership with Mike Baldwin before later witnessing a confrontation between the latter and Don Brennan after learning about their conflict with each other. Keith was overreacted for hearing Johnny Cash's last two albums produced by Rick Rubin. His favorite song was "Rusty Cage."

The next day, Dave Glover's funeral takes place.

Another next day, Sean Rossi leaves the village.

Four days later, Harold, Paige and Brody moved to the new house where the older couple died a month prior. Keith told Harold that Phyllis Pearce has passed away.

Nine days later, Dave Glover's inquest takes place.

The next day, Betty Eagleton storms out of her 63rd birthday party and discovers Kelly Windsor and her teacher Tom Bainbridge kissing. Kelly runs away.

Another next day, Frank Tate is revealed to be the father of baby James, not Dave Glover.

Five days later, Following the allegations of his and Kelly Windsor's affair, Tom Bainbridge is suspended from his job as a teacher, but sacked a few days later.

Two days later, Zak Dingle meets girlfriend Lisa Clegg's husband, Barry. Off-screen, Barry and Zak fights, and Kyle told them to stop. Brendan and Lucretia welcomed their baby girl Tabitha.

The next day, Larry and Tanya welcomed their first child Deacon John. Lynn Whiteley returns with her son from Australia to England for breaking up with her Swedish boyfriend, and Randy dated her.
