On September 7, Mavis Wilton decides to leave the Street and move to Cartmel opening a B&B. Rita Sullivan thinks it's a good idea and asks to go with her.

The next day, Chris Collins starts to lodge at No.13. Lewis Richardson visits his mother Helen to tell her about his concerns over his abusive alcoholic father Dennis.

Two days later, Lisa Clegg calls off her wedding to Albert Dingle when the police come looking for him over an armed robbery.

The next day, Will Cairns is kidnapped by a young woman.

Another next day, Samantha Failsworth's ex-husband Ritchie Fitzgerald tracks her down to Weatherfield.

Two days later, Fiona Middleton discovers that she is pregnant.

Five days later, Mavis Wilton agrees to sell No.4 to Fred Elliott when she leaves Weatherfield.

Two days later, Mavis Wilton moves out of No.4 prior to her move to Cartmel. Sally Webster writes "Whore" on Natalie Horrocks' bathroom mirror, still angry over Kevin's tryst with Natalie.

The next day, The Fowlers take a trip to Ireland, the visit long-lost relatives, when Pauline discovers that Lou had a daughter, Maggie whom she gave up for adoption. Fred Elliott and Maureen Holdsworth are married. Sally Webster and Natalie Horrocks have a cat-fight in the Street.

Two days later, Natalie Horrocks tries to get the police to arrest Sally Webster for the damage she caused to her house but they refuse to get involved in a domestic dispute.

The next day, Maggie's granddaughter, Mary Flaherty returns to the Square with the Fowlers after Maggie's husband Sean discovers she had an affair with her teacher Gerry McCrae.

Another next day, Don Brennan is admitted to Weatherfield General while awaiting trial for setting fire to Mike Baldwin's factory and kidnapping Alma Baldwin. It is then revealed that Don dying of cancer. Kyle confirms it was a false statement.

Three days later, Rita Sullivan backs out of buying a B&B with Mavis Wilton in the Lake District. Alma Baldwin visits a dying Don Brennan in hospital and tells him that she forgives him for his past treatment of her.

The next day, Fiona Mallender leaves Will Cairns to die in a regularly filled grain silo.
