On September 5, Carol discovers Bianca and Dan's affair and it's guns all blazing.
The next day, Finn's grandmother, Lady Molly, dies suddenly whilst being visited in Ireland by Finn and his friends.
Another next day, Following the reveal of the affair, Carol aborts Dan's child.
Another next day, Ollie Reynolds is electrocuted when disconnecting the electricity between the Dingles and the Reynolds' house. This also starts a fire.
Another next day, Lucy Benson is told that her brother Kurt has died, but was missing according to Kyle. The supposedly deceased Rob Hawthorn makes a surprise return, intent on revenge.
Another next day, Bianca leaves Walford for a beauty course in Manchester. Ashley Peacock meets his birth mother Kathleen Gutteridge properly for the first time.
Three days later, Kurt Benson's funeral takes place. Lucy Benson is kidnapped by Rob Hawthorn, who is revealed to in fact be alive. New student Geri Hudson arrives in the village, asking Adam Morgan for directions. Adam also directs Nikki Sullivan to the halls.
The next day, Geri Hudson and Nikki Sullivan meet their new neighbours at the Hall of Residence, Alex Bell and Sam Smallwood. Rob Hawthorn attempts to drown Lucy Benson, Ruth Osborne, Lewis Richardson and Tony Hutchinson in the nautical test facility. Elsa Feldmann, now known as Chappell, returns to the village. The tyres on Chris Tate's car are slashed. Scott Windsor crashes his car in order to claim on the insurance.
Another next day, New student Anna Green arrives in the village, moving into the Hall of Residence. Chris Tate's office is ransacked and covered in graffiti and his cottage is turned over.
Another next day, Kathy Mitchell returns. Butch Dingle and Mandy Dingle have their marriage annulled, Narvel confirms that they are actually cousins.
Another next day, Vera Duckworth is involved in a car crash when Judy Mallett is her passenger. The injury that Judy sustains seems mild. Chris Tate is kidnapped by an unknown assailant.
Two days later, Jim McDonald discovers that the car Terry Duckworth sold to his mother, Vera, is two vehicles welded together.
The next day, Tony Hutchinson and Lewis Richardson manage to find an escape hatch, which allows them to escape into the River Dee. Tony manages to revive an unconscious Lucy Benson.
Another next day, Kathy Glover visits her brother Nick Bates in prison to inform of Elsa's return. (First appearance of Nick Bates since 1996). Chris Tate is officially declared a missing person.
Another next day, Ashley Peacock and Maxine Heavey have their stag and hen nights.
Another next day, Kathy and Grant sleep together. Darren Osborne returns to the village with his father, Jack.
Another next day, Ashley Peacock and Maxine Heavey get married. Sharon Gaskell attempts suicide and Judy Mallett collapses with an embolism in her back yard.
Two days later, Larry and Tanya welcomed their baby girl Lari Michele Tilsley. Deacon became a big brother.
The next day, Gary Mallett finds out that the Duckworths' car in which Judy had the accident which led to her death was a "cut and shut" job.
Two days later, Gary Mallett accuses the Duckworths, and Terry in particular, of causing Judy's death. Jack tells Terry he wishes that he'd been the one who died.
The next day, Nick told Narvel that he never marry Elsa, but left the village.
