Two days later, Nita Desai, left on her own to manage the Corner Shop when brother Vikram goes to Brighton with Steve McDonald, is delighted when cousin Dev Alahan comes up from Birmingham to help her. Zoe Tate and Terry Woods track down Liam Hammond and are taken hostage. Roy Glover is beaten up by cellmate Jed Nixon in prison.
The next day, Liam Hammond kidnaps Zoe Tate and ties Terry Woods up in the cellar. Later, Zoe discovers Liam is her and Chris Tate's half brother. When Liam threatens to kill them both, Zoe fakes a fight with Chris and when Liam breaks up the fight, Zoe manages to grab the gun and shoots him dead.
Another next day, The DSS charge Les Battersby with working while claiming benefits.
Two days later, Mark Redman arrives to stay with his dad Mike Baldwin. His girlfriend Linda Sykes is surprised by Mark's appearance as Mike never told her that he had a son.
The next day, After falling out with his mother Jill Osborne over the whereabouts of his twin sister Kate Patrick, Joe Johnson leaves the village.
Four days later, Rita Sullivan buys back The Kabin from Ian and Sharon Bentley for £45,000.
Two days later, Lynn Tilsley gave birth to two boys, Adam Richard and Brandon Frederick, and two girls, Courtney Lynn and Daisy Marie. Peter became a big brother.
Another two days later, Roy Glover is released from prison. Bernice Blackstock's mother Diane arrives in the village, and immediately catches Alan Turner's eye.
The next day, Ian and Sharon Bentley leave the Street.
Two days later, The Freshco staff participate in a "Forward with Freshco" weekend at Benbury Lodge. They are unhappy to learn that the place is run like a prison camp.
Another two days later, Mike Baldwin is fined £500 and banned from driving for a year after being caught drink driving.
Another two days later, Liam Hammond's funeral takes place.
