❝This was far too entertaining. I had never seen this side of him before.❞

Year 1889 - Hogwarts Castle - The library
;Sebastian and Angella studying for potions;
"What are you smiling at, Sebastian? Don't tell me the potion book is that funny!" I grinned at him.
Sebastian glanced up from his desk, giving me a side-eye before letting out a huff. "This is a very rare potion I'm reading about. I'm thinking of learning how to make it... and maybe giving it to someone special."
Curious, I leaned over his desk, trying to make out the words on the page upside down. Unfortunately, it was proving to be quite the challenge. I had learned English well enough, but this text was far more complicated. Sensing my struggle, Sebastian turned the book toward me so I could read it properly.
I squinted at the title and read aloud, "A-mor-ten-tia." Sitting back in my chair, I frowned. "Amor? Like the Spanish word for love?"
Sebastian's lips curled into a mischievous grin as he nodded. "It's a highly rare love potion. If you give it to someone, they'll fall madly, obsessively, and utterly insane for you."
I scoffed, shaking my head in frustration. "Why would you want to do that? Giving it to someone without their consent?"
He merely chuckled. "Just for a little fun and excitement in this boring place. I mean, I'd definitely take a girl to the Restricted Section and teach her some... secret knowledge."
With a smirk, I shut my book with a loud thud and stood up. "Then let's go to the Restricted Section." Sebastian looked at me, his expression shifting between amusement and concern. "Wait... you want me to teach you restricted secrets?"
I smiled. "Come on, Sallow. Show me a thing or two. Give me that potion."
He leaned back in his chair, folding his arms. "No way. You're my friend, and I'm not kissing my best friend in the library—especially if you're not actually in love with me."
Pressing my hands against his desk, I met his gaze. "Good. That's exactly my point. That's why you can't use that potion. You just admitted it yourself."
With that, I sat back down and resumed my homework.

-The Present-
Year 1890 - Hogwarts Castle - North Exit
Sebastian and Angella hiding behind the wall
I smiled at the memory, momentarily forgetting where I was, who I was with, and what I was supposed to be doing.
Sebastian suddenly pushed me back against the wall, his grip firm, his eyes darkened with intensity. "What were you doing in the library this morning?"
Annoyed, I lifted a brow. "None of your business, Sallow." I shoved him back and stepped through the exit. "It is my business, sweetheart," he called after me, following closely down the path.
I rolled my eyes. "You're a terrible liar, you know that? Besides, it's not like we're friends anymore. What I do in my private time with Marvolo is none of your concern."
Sebastian's jaw tensed. "Don't tell me you two kissed?" he snapped.
Ignoring him, I continued walking toward the Forbidden Forest, a smug smile forming on my lips as the realization dawned on me. I turned to face him, my grin widening. "Wait a second... are you jealous that I kissed Marvolo Gaunt?"
