-The Future-
Year 1898 - Marunweem Hamlet - Cottage
;Conversation between Angella and her young daughter;
"Mommy, can I ask you something?" I perched on the edge of her bed. "Of course, sweetheart. What's on your mind?" She clutched her dragon-stuffed animal tightly. "Was Daddy kind when you met him? And strong? Like he is now..."
I glanced down at my daughter and smiled softly. "He was—in his own special way. Just like you." I tucked the sheets snugly around her. "Why do you ask?"
She gazed toward the window. "I heard Daddy yelling at you yesterday... He never yells at me. Why?" I gently ran my fingers through her hair, offering comfort. "Your dad wears many faces, Vivienne. But one thing is certain—he would never be mad at you."
She turned her deep brown eyes toward me. "Why did he yell, Mommy?"
I shifted my gaze to the window. "Mommy made a mistake. But it's nothing for you to worry about." I pressed a kiss to her forehead.
"Get some sleep now. He'll be home soon for your goodnight kiss."
Heavy footsteps echoed across the wooden floor. The door creaked open.
I turned my head toward the figure in the doorway.
"DADDY!" Vivienne squealed, leaping out of bed.
He swept her into his arms. "Hello, little one. I'm home."

-The Present-
Year 1890 – Hogwarts Castle – Weasley's Office
;Interview with the Heroine of Hogwarts;
The Daily Prophet had asked me to write a short note about myself for a cover story—"The Heroine of Hogwarts." Just the thought of my face on the front page made my stomach churn.
But here I was, sitting in Professor Weasley's office, scribbling down the words as quickly as I could. The reporter had been shadowing me for a week now. It had to be done.
I reread my note for the newspaper.
[note]
My name is Angella Delgado, and I was born in Lleida, a city in Spain. When my parents died in an accident, my brother and I became orphans. Our aunt, Catalina Delgado, took us in and cared for us. Every year, we celebrated Festa Major and Fira de Sant Miquel—cherished family traditions.
The day I discovered my magic, we realized I would have to leave home. I needed to learn, to train—to become a witch. My aunt refused, saying I was too young. So I waited. Until I was sixteen. it was then that I met Professor Eleazar Fig. He took me under his wing, guiding me to Hogwarts. Since then, I've been a Slytherin.
"Smile for The Daily Prophet, madam!"
I forced a smile. A blinding flash filled the room. My vision blurred for a moment as I blinked against the harsh light.
Across from me sat a woman with curled red hair, round glasses perched on her nose, and a quill poised in her hand "What was your name again?"
I lifted my chin. "Angella Delgado, Miss Tamayo."
Her lips curled into a smile. "So, how does it feel to be the most powerful witch at Hogwarts?"
I smirked slightly. "It doesn't feel any different."
She jotted something down, then looked up again "Angelie, you must feel special right now. After all, you saved the entire school when you defeated Ranrok in the Repository."
My brows furrowed. "It's Angella. And no, I don't. I'm just glad I could help—with my magic and all."
She scribbled away, then suddenly perked up "What about your boyfriend, Sebastian Sallow?"
I shot Professor Weasley a bewildered look. She merely shrugged "Sebastian Sallow is not my boyfriend. We were friends last year, nothing more," I stated firmly.
Tamayo giggled as she continued writing. "It's nice to have a beloved like him, Angella. He must be extra special to you now that he saved the school with you."
My patience was wearing thin "It's Angella. And NO. He's not my boyfriend. Never was, never will be." She peered at me over her glasses. "Oh, don't fool yourself, dear. I saw you two kissing the other day in the courtyard."
She slid a photo toward me—some short, brown-haired man locked in an embrace with a tall blonde woman.
My temper flared. "THAT'S NOT ME! Are you blind or just stupid? I'm not even that tall. And Sebastian Sallow is anything but short!"
Tamayo merely smirked "Tell me something about yourself that no one knows, Angelic... a secret. Perhaps about your parents? Or your boyfriend?"
I shot to my feet.
"This interview is over."
I stormed out of Professor Weasley's office.

I hurried toward my sanctuary.
My Room of Requirement.
Over the past year, I had transformed the space, filling it with color and warmth. Now, the walls were a deep forest green, accented by stone-washed gray. Hanging vines and plants draped from the ceiling, while the seating area featured oak-brown couches and navy-blue pillows.
As I stared at the cozy space, I thought back to my first time here. The room had been empty. Hollow.
Stepping into my Forest Vivarium, I inhaled the scent of leaves, wood, and damp earth. Above, stars sparkled in the enchanted sky, the moon casting silver light over the fields.
Near the woods, my unicorns huddled protectively around two newborns—a boy and a girl, so tiny and fragile. I handed out treats, brushing my fingers through their soft manes.
A gentle thud against my hip caught my attention. The baby unicorn nudged me, his tiny horn glinting in the moonlight. I smiled. "Good to see you, Percy.'' He trotted back to his mother.
A Mooncalf leaped off a rocky ledge and bounded toward me "Hi, Mooney. What are you up to?" His big blue eyes shimmered as he gazed at the moon, letting out soft squeaks. The other Mooncalves gathered around, nudging me for attention. I knelt, offering treats and scratching their heads.
Yet my mind lingered on Tamayo's words.
Sebastian Sallow, my boyfriend? Yeah, right. Who would actually believe that?
What we had last year was... complicated. Not quite a friendship, not quite anything else. There was one moment when I thought he might try something. But he didn't. And I was glad. Because if he had, I would have broken his fingers.
Not just him—any boy in this school.

That night, sleep did not come easily. A strange feeling gnawed at me, like I was being watched. I kept opening my eyes, scanning the room.
Nothing.
I drifted back into sleep. Then, suddenly— A rough hand clamped around my throat. I gasped, eyes flying open, only to meet a pair of glowing green irises.
Sebastian's brown curls framed his face as his grip tightened. I tried to scream, but my voice failed me. My hands clawed at his, struggling against his strength.
"Sebastian..." I choked out.
Then—he snapped my neck.
I jolted awake, drenched in sweat. My chest heaved as I fumbled for the nightlight. Palms pressed against my forehead, I let out a scream. It was just a dream.. A dream.
But it felt so real.
