Treacherous

I hate my treacherous heart cause it still beats for you.
My pulse quickens to a tempo I didn't know it could do.
It's always so solid, but for you, it'll move.
When you see me, is your heart racing too?

I hate my treacherous eyes cause they still search for you.
Oh the things just the sight of you can do.
My eyes track your every move.
When our gazes meet, I hope it's because you were staring at me too.

I hate my treacherous mind cause it still thinks about you.
I never know just what these racing thoughts will do.
I'm usually so distracted, but for you, my focus won't move.
When I lay awake at night, I hope you're thinking of me too.

Everything about me is a traitor when it comes to you.
My heart, my eyes, my mind; to them, you should see what you can do.
I want to let go, but I know my love won't ever move.
I can't help but hope that you love me too.
