Alethea's POV:
"Stella... We can't just storm into Amentia's castle," Sky sighed, his face etched with frustration. He glanced at me, seeking support. "We need a plan."
Stella's eyes blazed with determination. "You want a plan? I'll tell you what the plan is: I'm going in there, smacking her around, and taking my man back!" Her voice was sharp, her frustration evident. "Nobody is going to steal my boyfriend."
I stepped forward, meeting her fiery gaze gently. "But if we come up with a solid plan, we stand a much better chance of actually succeeding, Stella," I said softly. "The castle is obviously going to be guarded. We need to be careful."
I raised an eyebrow slightly, my voice calm and measured. Stella huffed in response, clearly unimpressed, while both Silas and Sky nodded in agreement.
I glanced at Bloom and Aisha, wondering what they were thinking. They noticed my gaze and shrugged, leaving me to give them a small, understanding smile in return.
"I read that being in love impairs your ability to think clearly," Chatta chimed in, clearly disagreeing with Stella's impromptu plan.
"Love is about feeling, not thinking, Chatta," Amore corrected matter-of-factly.
"Let's pick it up, guys," Stella ordered, her patience wearing thin. Despite her command, we were still hesitant.
"Stella, we're hugely outnumbered. You, Bloom, Alethea and Aisha, don't have your magic," Sky pointed out, concern deepening the lines on his face.
"So what?!" Stella's voice rose, her anger barely contained.
"Why don't we sit here for a second and think about how we'll pull this off?" Bloom suggested. But when Stella continued marching toward Downland, Bloom sighed in exasperation. "She's not listening to me."
"I'll talk to her," Chatta volunteered, not waiting for a response. She flew up to Stella. "Hey, Stella!"
"UGH! We're not going to stop, and we don't have any time to lose!" Stella yelled, pushing Chatta back harshly.
Digit scoffed at Stella's behaviour. "Okay, somebody needs to explain logically why we can't rush in there like hotheads."
"Digit's right," Sky agreed, nodding. "Listen, Stella, the third rule of tactics clearly states that emotion is the enemy of victory."
I let out a soft sigh. "There's nothing wrong with being human, Sky."
"I never said there's something wrong with being human," Sky retorted, crossing his arms. "I just mean that emotions could jeopardise our survival on this mission."
