Alethea's POV:

"Alright, now each of you will take a moment to explain your midterm reports," Professor Palladium announced, his calm but authoritative voice filling the classroom. I clutched my report, feeling the usual mix of nervousness and excitement, my hands trembling slightly. I always felt a bit anxious when it came to speaking in front of others.

"Flora, will you start us off?" Palladium gestured toward her. Flora stood with her usual soft smile, her presence always calming.

"Our report is on the Magical Dimension's ecosystem and how its balance affects magical beings..." Flora began. I was listening intently, genuinely interested in what she had to say. But then, I felt a gentle tap on my arm. Glancing to my right, I saw Bloom leaning in, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Hey..." she murmured, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "We're invited to a Halloween party in Gardenia."

I blinked, momentarily thrown off. "Halloween?" I whispered back, confused. The word was unfamiliar, and I had no idea what it meant. Flora and Aisha, sitting nearby, seemed just as puzzled, their attention momentarily drifting from Flora's report to our quiet conversation.

"You know, Halloween," Bloom whispered again, trying to clarify. "Jack o' lanterns, scary costumes, trick-or-treating?"

I nodded, though I still wasn't entirely sure. Aisha and Flora exchanged equally confused looks but nodded along with me. I turned to Stella, who sat on the other side of me, and whispered, "There's a Halloween party tonight... we're supposed to wear scary costumes and play a game with... Jack?"

Stella raised an eyebrow, amusement flickering in her eyes, but I could tell she was just as lost as the rest of us. Meanwhile, Tecna, still fully immersed in our midterm presentation, continued speaking. "At that area, the magical energy is at a minimum," she explained, her voice steady, unaware of our whispered conversation.

"Did you hear about this guy named Jack?" Stella leaned over to Musa, clearly caught up in the Halloween talk now. "Apparently, he's throwing some kind of spooky Winx party tonight."

A soft giggle almost escaped me, but I quickly refocused as it became my turn to speak. Despite the bubbling excitement about the party, I reminded myself to stay composed. "At Alfea, young fairies learn to use their powers positively and creatively," I said, my voice soft but steady, hoping to keep my nerves in check.

Bloom was next, and though she tried to stay serious, I could see the mischievous glint in her eyes. "Then there's Cloud Tower, where young witches go to learn how to wreak havoc," she added, and I couldn't help but smile a little. We were all trying our best to stay focused, but the party talk lingered in the air like a whispered secret.
