Alethea's POV:

As we made our way through the corridors, the tension settled into my chest. Faragonda had summoned us, and I couldn't help but murmur, "Why are we here?"

"Who knows," Stella shrugged, though her carefree attitude wavered as we neared Faragonda's office. A mischievous grin spread across her face as she gently nudged me forward. "Why don't you knock on the door, Alethea?"

I blinked at her, a bit startled. "Stella!" I whispered, my frustration barely audible. Taking a calming breath, I turned to face the door and knocked lightly.

"Come in, girls," Faragonda's voice beckoned from within. I opened the door, stepping inside, and the rest of the girls followed. The room felt heavy with seriousness as Faragonda looked at each of us, her gaze thoughtful but firm.

"Things have been difficult lately," she began in a somber tone. "I know you're all exhausted."

Stella let out a dramatic yawn, her expression tired but still playful. "I haven't felt this tired since I broke in new heels."

Faragonda chose to overlook Stella's comment, her focus unwavering. "Losing Alfea's piece of the Codex was a severe setback, but we mustn't dwell on it. We need to be ready for the next challenge."

Flora spoke up softly. "I hope we can manage."

I nodded slightly, her concern reflecting my own. We had failed to stop the Trix and Lord Darkar multiple times, and with each defeat, doubt crept in further. Could we really stop them?

Stella rolled her eyes. "'I hope we can manage'? We can't just hope, Flora. We need to be ready, not wishful."

Musa, sharp as always, glared at her. "Maybe you could drop the attitude, Stella. Not helping."

"Like you're all sunshine and rainbows?" Stella shot back, and I winced inwardly. The tension between us had grown unbearable, our exhaustion fueling the constant bickering.

"That's enough, girls," Faragonda's voice cut through their argument. "You need to remember why you're the Winx Club. I've decided to take some necessary steps."

Curious, I spoke softly. "What kind of steps, Miss Faragonda?"

"I'm sending you on a vacation," Faragonda announced with a gentle smile, as though it was the most normal decision in the world.

We all stared at her in stunned silence.

"What?!" we exclaimed in unison.

Tecna was quick to voice our shared confusion. "But why send us away when Lord Darkar is still a threat?"

"You're not in any condition to face him," Faragonda explained, her tone firm but kind. "You've been pushing yourselves to the limit. A break will allow you to regroup and regain your strength. I'm sending you to the Resort Realm, where you'll be able to relax, ski, camp, and explore nature. A villa has been arranged for your stay."
