Alethea's POV:

I snuggled into my pillow, savoring the peacefulness of sleep, when a piercing scream shattered the quiet. My eyes flew open, and I sat up abruptly, spotting Stella doing the same across the room. Our gazes met, a mix of concern and urgency reflected in both. Without a word, we jumped out of bed and hurried toward the sound.

The scream had come from Bloom and Flora's room.

"Bloom, are you okay?" I called as we burst through the door, the others trailing close behind. In my haste, I almost slipped on the polished floor, but Tecna caught me just in time.

Bloom, however, surprised us all by laughing—bright and carefree—as she looked at me. "Now I'm alright," she said, grinning.

Musa chuckled. "We heard a commotion and thought you might be throwing an impromptu party."

I beamed, eager to lighten the mood. "We could have one now! It might cheer Bloom up."

Stella raised an eyebrow. "Or it might just wake up the entire campus."

Aisha, more focused, asked gently, "What happened, Bloom? Was it another bad dream about Valtor and your parents?"

Bloom nodded, her earlier laughter giving way to a somber expression. "Yeah, it was. I just... I don't know what to do anymore."

I moved closer to her, settling beside her on the bed. "Whatever you decide—whether it's to face Valtor or not—we're all here for you," I said softly, giving her a reassuring smile.

Bloom smiled back. "I appreciate that." Her face shifted to a look of determination. "But maybe... Valtor isn't the only one who knows what happened to my parents!"

"Who else would know?" Stella asked, leaning forward in curiosity.

"The Ancient Witches," Bloom replied, her voice steady but tinged with unease.

"The three Ancestral Witches..." I whispered, the words stirring a memory of my own dream.

Bloom noticed my thoughtful expression and tilted her head. "They led the attack on Domino and Aalto," she continued. "If anyone knows the fate of my parents, it's them. They would know if Valtor captured them, if they're in exile, or if they..." Her voice wavered. "If they perished."

"But the witches were destroyed a long time ago," Stella pointed out, folding her arms. "Right?"

"Were they?" I asked, almost without realizing it.

Everyone turned to me. Bloom's curiosity was evident. "What do you mean, Alethea?"

I hesitated, suddenly shy. "It's probably nothing, but... I had a dream about them. It felt so real, like they were there, speaking to me." I chuckled nervously, shaking my head. "Now that I say it out loud, it sounds silly."
