Alethea's POV:

I leaned my chin on my hand, gazing out the window with a bored expression while waiting for the rest of my classmates to shuffle into the room. Sundays were meant for relaxing, not early classes, but here we were. Miss Faragonda had called for this special session, emphasizing its importance. I couldn't help but stifle a sigh, still not completely convinced.

Once the classroom filled, Miss Faragonda stood at the front and addressed us, her voice calm but commanding. "Young ladies, welcome to the Advanced Placement Seminar on Power Convergence."

I straightened up a little, curiosity tugging at me despite my earlier reluctance. Power Convergence? That sounded... interesting. Miss Faragonda continued, "Convergence occurs when two or more Fairies merge their powers. I know we don't typically have class on Sundays, but this skill is crucial for your development."

My brows furrowed as I raised my hand tentatively. "But... we combine our powers all the time. Isn't that the same thing?"

Miss Faragonda smiled gently, shaking her head. "There's a difference between combining and converging. Combining powers is simply joining forces. But convergence—true convergence—multiplies your powers exponentially."

I exchanged a quick, excited glance with Stella. Multiplying our powers? Now that definitely caught my attention.

"Cool!" Stella whispered, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.

Miss Faragonda's expression softened as she continued, "However, let me point out that convergence depends on one essential element: a true connection between the Fairies involved. It requires a bond. The closer you are to someone, the stronger the convergence. It's proportional."

Flora tilted her head slightly, her gentle curiosity evident. "So... convergence is based on friendship?"

Miss Faragonda nodded, her tone warm as she confirmed Flora's thought. "Yes, exactly. It's a reflection of your emotional bond with the other Fairy. The stronger the friendship, the stronger the convergence."

Stella's hand shot up eagerly. "So, like, if you converge with your best friends, you get the most powerful magic?"

Miss Faragonda's smile widened just a bit. "That's correct."

Stella practically bounced in her seat, her excitement contagious. She leaned toward me, her voice brimming with energy. "Awesome! We'll totally rock convergence together!"

I couldn't help but smile softly, the atmosphere in the room shifting from drowsy to electric. This early Sunday class didn't seem so bad anymore. The idea of becoming even stronger alongside my friends filled me with a quiet sense of determination.
