For some reason I simply couldn't escape the feeling of anxiety. It seemed to follow me everywhere since arriving here.
Especially now that I was carrying the two star stones and a book about sorcery in my pocket my heart seemed to want to jump out of my chest. I even felt the swift beats in my stomach where I had neatly folded my hands to retain some sense of security and confidence.

I couldn't act suspiciously now but behaving normally was easier said than done.

I hadn't met Ronan this morning so I needed to find him on the training yard now.
After cleaning I had quickly changed into my other uniform to get into the student's part of the academy.

With every step I took I was scared that something was going to drop from my pocket, falling right into another's hands.
But when I clapped my hand over the side of my uniform there were still two indentations left above the hard surface of the book.

Finally after walking across the whole yard I found him training in one of the courts. He was by himself right now, apparently he only had one class which was mine besides his usual job as on of the generals of the special force.
And he was honoring that title right now.

When I looked at the way his body twisted and turned with his blades I was sure that he had held back in our training. Or else I would've been in the healing wing all of yesterday.

I could've watched him all day but fueled with anxiety and a burning hot sensation on my leg I marched over to him.

"Sir Ashdracon" I greeted formally since we were still outside.

He stopped his training, wiping some sweat from his forehead.
"Yes?" He asked and I could see that he wasn't too happy about seeing me here. If I had had any other option I wouldn't have chosen this meeting spot as well.

"I need to tell you something" I told him, hoping that he would end his training for this.
I wanted to show him in his room or anywhere the others couldn't see.

"I take it, it is important?" He asked, eyebrows raised.

I nodded, smiling gravely. I didn't want to explain why I had kept the items hidden for days but I couldn't store them in my room anymore. This much I knew now.

"Let's go to my room then" he told me.

I followed him in a distance, not wanting to get attention. He was quite the loner, so just talking to him was suspicious.
We entered through the student's entrance which relieved me since I wouldn't see anyone familiar here besides Lilac but that was fine.

He didn't once turn back as he lengthened the distance between us with his long strides.
I had to work hard to keep track of him or else I would be lost.

I was almost jogging by now until I heard a familiar high pitched voice. Shocked I turned around which I probably shouldn't have done.

Maybe I could've tried running away before she had gotten a better look at me but now Lady Thatcher had seen my face. She had seen me in the student's area in my uniform, going my day as if this was normal.
