How they woke up upon opening their eyes was... Not very pleasant. They were a little grouchy and their view blurry yet they had to force themself to get up. Once more they found themself at this bizarre place... Mementos. But that may not have been anything new. What was new had been when they had a sudden beep who in their pocket, the phone. And when they had put it out it was this weird app already open, a location marked on the map. Or rather some red dot and it constantly beeped. Over and over, no break. The sound was ear piercing. They hoped that clicking on it would make it stop and it did... Though it also showed a route all of a sudden as well as giving the distance away, from where they were standing to the destination. Was this one of the features? Well, a navigator should have such a basic function so they were not going to bother and just follow suit. Not like they had much of a choice.
The way was surprisingly not that long. It was a good footwalk away though. All while they passed by familiar buildings, though they had all been colored out or had taken a rather bizarre shape. They were shifted in some way, only recognizable in its barebone basics. Walking around all by themself... They suddenly recalled how scary it was, how it all just unsettled them. And yet they couldn't exactly stop, could they?
So they just kept on walking... Until another beep occurred. Though it was a more pleasant one and then followed up by a voice saying 'Destination reached'. They came to a halt to look around, turn around... Only to stand there, all frozen. The next sight they would have to take in was a massive house with a gate surrounding it. The sky was rather dark, some purple–reddish dark however. The building itself was massive, resembling a mansion. Though the colors were all over the place. Actually, think of all possible colors smeared against the wall, as if someone tried to make it look lively yet the end result was just as lifeless as you can get. Not just that but there were thorns all around it, or rather vines with thorns, keeping it all caged in, as if hugging the building tightly. It looked like a rather painful embrace. Then again, a building couldn't feel anything, could it? Was this—
"Ding ding ding diiiiing!" A voice shouted out of nowhere, making them gasp and nearly drop the phone in hand. However, they didn't, luckily, but instead looked at the screen... A caller's ID? And it said... Pipistrello? Huh? Actually, that was the voice of the figure making these 'ding' noises too. Just what had it done to their phone!? Ugh... But no matter. They didn't have much of a choice to pick up and pretty much right away they put it on speaker.
"Oh, that took a little while dearie. I almost got bored waiting for you." It then said, the voice all too audible... If you can call it a voice. But hey, Pipistrello was at least talking, somehow. "But I knew you could do it. My faith in you never wavered~"
"Yes yes, thank you." They only sighed in response, honestly exhausted from just being shifted into this space yet again, with no warning either. Maybe it was a little bit of common sense to guess that if they typed in all four correct words that they would be thrown into Mementos again but at the same time it just kind of happened! Ugh, there was no escape for them, was there?
"But where are my manners? It's me, Pipistrello! And I will be your tour guide from here on forward~" The creature continued, then laughing wholeheartedly. "Are you ready to enter the Dollhouse Of Doom?"
"D... Dollhouse Of... Of—"
"Just kidding, I made that name up. Sounds more exciting, doesn't it?"
"Was that really necessary?"
"Well, we can't exactly have a boring show."
"Why am I still asking?" They sighed, shaking their head as a result. "Does the tour guide know how to get in there then? Like—"
"Of course. The front door is wide open~" Pipistrello interrupted, leaving them a little dumbfounded for a short moment. "Go through the gates and enter."
