When they opened their eyes it was rather slow. Their head still felt a little light headed and they held onto it... Or wanted to but just as they tried to lift up one of their arms they felt it struggling to get out somewhere. They tried to pull, over and over but it didn't want to be pulled out from wherever it was stuck. Or so it felt like. It took them a few more moments to realize what was actually happening, what had been causing something like this. They wiggled their arms around but nothing, it only moved around ever so slightly. It wiggled and wiggled before they had finally noticed.
Their wrists felt pushed together, kept that way on top of that. Something was tugging onto both, making it somewhat hurt like crazy. It only became tighter and tighter before they felt it kick in... Their arms started to feel a little numb, both twitching slightly in the glued together position. They wiggled and wiggled, only to then also notice that they were in a... Seated position? Yeah, they were seated right onto a chair, hands tied together behind their back. H... How did that happen? Or rather when did that—
"Anja–Chan~" A voice would say, making them lift their head up the best they could. Their view started to become sharper, the blur disappearing eventually. And when they looked around it was a vacant room. Vacant but seeming to be dirty. The walls were all dark and the temperature was freezing cold. Not just that but the smell was also kind of moldy. And... Someone stood right in front of— Wait, that's— "You took your time waking up there. But that's fine. We have all time in the world today."
They gasped, only able to get out one word. "Miyuki!?"
Yeah, it was her. And she was standing right then and there, a smile gracing her lips. Though it was far from the polite smile, even if it looked the exact same. There seemed to be some twisted undertone, a genuine yet also creepy smile, looking a little wider than it usually would. And that chuckle which had followed shortly after... It was ear piercing, unbearable to listen to! And yet—
"Correct. It's me. Are you surprised?" She asked while stepping closer, then leaning forward and down, to come face to face with Anja, the smile not fading whatsoever. "Thank you for making things easier than anticipated. A naive one, aren't we?"
"Ea... Easier than anticipated?" What is she implying here?
"You saved me lots of work honestly. Although, I would have loved to tell you myself. But what can you do?" She shrugged before lifting up an arm, a hand tracing over the features of their face. The touch was cold, making their boiling blood freeze up in an instant. Not just that but it was... Rather uncomfortable, to say the least. But they couldn't back away, not in this position. "Now look at you after sniffing around. All scared, aren't you? How cute."
They bit their lip, though honestly it had been an attempt to bite her finger off instead. Yet she had pulled her hand away before that could happen, leaving them with a lip hurting a little. Yet they continued talking. "Scared? Of you?"
"Oh? Do you hate me so much? I'm honestly flattered." She chuckled, unfazed and unbothered by this reaction. "You and your old geezer have that in common too, haven't you? Oh, my bad, had it in common. After all—"
"Shut up! You have no right talking about him!" No, it was a mixture of both. They were scared, yes, but they were furious just as much. How dare she—
"Should you be really telling me what to do in your current position?" Miyuki interrupted with a laugh. "But thanks for trying. It'll only be more fun to shut you up later~"
"Wha—"
"And squeeze out every answer I want." She then backed away, standing up straight again, somewhat towering over Anja. "I mean you were sniffing around. That cannot go unpunished. It is impolite to touch someone else's belongings."
"Don't talk like you're better than me you—"
"Say, has Goro put you up to it?" But Miyuki wasn't listening, she just asked something completely unrelated. And... Wait, huh? "This brat doesn't know when to quit it."
"You mean... Akechi–Kun? He's got nothing to do with this! I—"
"Whatever. Not like that's important anyways." This woman was just talking over them now, wasn't she!? Something pissed them off about this. But she just kept on brabbling so nonchalantly. "My old man told me to not get rid of you but I can still break you as I please."
Hearing that made their eyes go wide once more... "B... Break? But–"
"Don't worry, I made sure to text your Mom with your phone. She will believe that you are staying for the night." She said, as if trying to reassure someone. Yeah, as if she was reassuring Anja. Even though it was anything but reassuring! And the smile only added to things... That stupid smile! "Let's have lots of fun, alright? And don't worry. You will tell me everything I want to know by the end of the day."
