And so, if there was no conscious connection, then it wouldn't have been from Miyuki's end. At least not consciously. She had to know something about their father's murder to even recreate such a scene. Not to mention that it was classified information. The public only knew that their father had been a 'convicted murderer' yet no one had spoken of an execution of some kind. Otherwise they would have heard their mother as well... Unless that was a secret mother had kept hidden for a while. And yet, it was also odd... The files talked about an 'execution', not that they found Anja's father dead in a cell. It didn't add up. Either this was just some sick, hidden fantasy or... Was it possible—

The moment they opened the drawer at the desk however they didn't think about it further. Instead they just stared at it, having found something... A small booklet with a hard cover. They turned around, to see if someone had entered and their ears had not alerted them... But nothing. They let out a small sigh of relief, then deciding to open it, just to see what it was.

The first few entries confirmed it, a diary of some kind. Though there was not much noted inside, just the mundane tasks of an Ishikawa it seemed. And how she complained and groaned how boring they are... Though whenever a misfortune happened to someone she saw she would note it down in great detail. Like how one of the butlers tripped and fell off the stairs. Or how she... Poured tea on a maid by 'accident'!? Needless to say, this all focused on something, and she found it funny if anything. Though on the surface it all sounded rather harmless... Compared to one sudden entry...

"Hah... I will admit, the old man knows how to give me a thrill. And I can't help but not talk about it. You see, I always thought that there was no truth to getting a thrill out of murdering someone. But honestly? It was probably the most fun I have had in a while. Would I do it again? Yes. But only to see if taking it slow would make it ten times better.

In any case, I set up the victims as asked. Now to just find a way to blame Karl for the entire thing. A happy family torn to shreds. Honestly, I was always sick of hearing about his family at gatherings. His wife and his daughter... They're making me puke. I won't be there though when the arrest happens. A shame.

Alright, time to manipulate the evidence. Shouldn't be so hard. The old man promised me assistance to cover up the crime. As long as Karl gets framed, it doesn't matter anyways."

Wha... Did she... Anja held the booklet in both of their hands, wanting to tear it to shreds. This was... It had been her all along!? It says it there, in there! In this thing! Oh how reading that made their blood boil! This was more than evidence, this was just a confession! They had to show this! Of course they couldn't take it with them, that would be too obvious... Though a picture would suffice!

And that was what they did in a rush, snapping one photo of the two pages. As much as they felt like crushing something. It was like hitting them with a brick. It hurt like crazy. But it did not just hurt them, no. It also made them furious. But no, they couldn't let their emotions get the better of them, not right now. They had to continue. It would explain Miyuki's involvement but not what was up with that—

"Hah, the old man gave me an earful. Yeah, I shouldn't have killed the guy. But he kept on barking at me, telling me that I would regret this and such. Honestly, it was just annoying. Besides, not like he wouldn't have gotten the death penalty, right? After all, he massacred that poor politician couple right then and there~

Well, everyone thinks so at least. Of course it wasn't him. That guy didn't have the guts to do it. Visiting him each day was fun. Seeing him all behind bars, awaiting his doom. He was so depressed. His wife divorced him and took the daughter. He hadn't seen them in a good while.

Yet even then he didn't shut his yap when I told him to just take his punishment. Ugh... He's so stubborn, it's annoying. I just shut him up, nothing more. A shot in the head and three in the chest. That's all it took.

Gotta make sure that the files have only the information we need on it. Anyways, good riddance. That guy pissed me off anyway.

His stupid ass wife and kid shall be in agony. Maybe I will meet them one day. I look forward to seeing either break down and cry. Ah, I can already picture it. Oh what fun~"

Oh they really wanted to just throw the booklet away and scream. This bitch... She wrote it as if it was nothing. And worst of all, she loved it. Every second. It was some sick game for her. The evidence was right there! She wrote about it!

Anja growled, wanting to just... Just... She wanted to tear this into shreds! How dare she!? Just shooting their father like this! And for what!? To shut him up!? Because her 'old man' told her to!? Besides, who is this old man!? Who told Miyuki to do that!? She got her hands dirty willingly but there was someone else, wasn't there!? This... Little...

A quick snap with the phone, yes, then putting it away. But... The blood was literally boiling. How could they stay calm!? How could they think!? They just wanted to bash that bitch's skull in! Give her a taste of things and shut her up for good! How dare she... How could she just... This—

"What are you doing to the young lady's belongings?" A voice interrupted their thought process, making them drop the booklet in an instant. They froze in place, feeling their body shiver. Maybe... They had thought a little too soon. It wasn't Miyuki's voice, that much they knew. The voice was too deep for that. Deep and cold, as if indifferent. It didn't belong to her however, no.

It made them turn around for a moment... Only to witness who was towering over them. It was that butler they had spotted with Miyuki before, the one who picked her up downtown. And he was standing there, seeming to look all indifferent. And yet what was in his hands spoke a different story. What had he been holding there exactly? A metal baseball bat.

"I... Uhm... I just—"

"I think you've seen enough." That was all he said before he went for it, a quick swing down their head before they lost consciousness, falling face to the ground.
