What ended up happening was them taking the same route where they had found the room... The chamber they had entered. Though unlike last time where it was almost like some leisurely stroll (well, not necessarily with the death traps), quicker than usual. Even they got themself to dash and avoid any possible traps, even if it meant just barely escaping with their life. This time they had a few scratches yet nothing too drastic. They would live at the very least. And there was no room to complain about those either.

The door had still been kicked open, lying face flat on the ground. It saved them some trouble, making Ole dash inside to the seat and lifting it up yet again. "Quick! Grab it!" He shouted over. They didn't even hesitate, running over to the hole. No matter how bright it would be they would just grab it and—

Huh? They were a little surprised, they had to admit. This was nothing like what they had imagined with this treasure. They pictured something massive or shiny but... A book? A small book? That was a new one. It had them baffled for a short moment yet they didn't let that get to them. They reached for it and grabbed it right then and there, pulling it out of the hole before latching onto it.

They then got up, looking over at the cat who nodded, then slamming the seat back into its position, then sighing. "Alright, there we go. Now let's get out of—"

"There you are!" A familiar voice shouted, at least familiar to them. And not just them, Pipistrello also remembered.

"Oh, looks like we have some company. Then again, would've been more of a surprise if we didn't."

Before there could be any type of response however they saw a fist flying right towards them, a massive, robotic hand coming their way. It would have been almost too late to dodge it but the tinier one of the two jumped quickly in front, only to block it with one of his hands, making the giant fist come to a standstill.

"You... Again! It's you!" The metallic voice screamed, the voice having become rather distorted, ear piercing to listen to. "You thief!"

"You know that thing?" Ole asked, a little unimpressed sounding yet not having let go of the fist just yet.

"Tha— The automaton thing!" They responded, then spotting the massive golden eyes glow right then and there, as if mere lights. The glow was more intense than before and the body made weird sounds as it moved, as if it was becoming even rustier than it looked. It hurt the ears at least a little bit.

"Memories..." It said. "Memories... Her memories..."

It made the two stand there for a moment, the grip of Ole's hand seeming to loosen. The giant was just standing on its knees, his fist still right in the air, right in front of them, the body twitching like a machine about to break. Smoke came from it, some sparks were flying from the limbs. And just when the duo was about to take the chance to run away and head for the exit by running past the automaton they both froze when hearing a loud scream echo right behind them. They wanted to turn around yet Ole didn't let them. Instead he suddenly grabbed one of their wrists and dragged them away.

"Don't you dare turn around now!" He warned, leaving no room for protest. "We need to go, now!" And then he started running with them. Or tried to rather because this massive figure was running behind them, the steps resembling a stomp, several quick ones in fact.

"I will protect her memories! I will do what it takes! For the Mistress!"
