"Protect her memories... Keep her happy..."
The words came out of its mouth, sounding as if it was at the brink of breaking then and there. It sounded as if it was about to collapse and the smell of smoke in the air suggested overheating. A kind of pitiful sight, dare he say. But he couldn't take pity on anything here. He had to act quick, no mercy whatsoever. And he was not going to show it. Instead he was going to not hold back, even if it would break the massive being in an instant, maye crush it in the process. But it was something he had to take into account. Even if he usually would not do something like this. Granted he had never done something like this before either. It was the plan he had to follow, however, he had already agreed to this. And thus he will see this through until the very end.
"Protect... Memories... Memories... Memo... RAAAAH!" A sudden shout echoed through the halls and he saw a hand suddenly trying to slap Ole. The cat got startled and his ears perked up, wagging a few times as he saw how the halls were getting demolished. Pillars and walls were getting crushed into pieces, collapsing. He treated it as if it was pushing things out of its way, as if it was nothing. Everything fell down as if it was nothing, pushed out of the way as if it was just shoving things aside, from a shelf.
Once it was close by the cat just took a quick jump forward, deciding to take the simple approach. Confuse the being, be quick on the feet. If there was one advantage Ole had when it came to his own height in this form, it was that he was tiny, very much so. And it was waving its arms around in frustration. The movements were anything but coordinated. They were an utter mess, just swinging around uncontrollably. There was no control whatsoever, desperation visible, if it could feel said desperation to begin with. It was hard to say yet it did not matter.
He just had to get closer, remain within reach. Determined in his mind he put the jumping robe in his mouth quickly, arms pushed a little backwards and the front of his body leaning a little forward. And with that he decided to dash as quickly as possible, the tapping on his feet increasing with each step. So every step he took he was just running and running, getting as close as possible. All while avoiding the arms whenever they hit the ground, moving sideways or jumping quickly. This should work... Yeah, it should!
He got closer and closer, soon having reached its legs. Did this thing notice? It was hard to say yet the shining orbs felt as if there had been a spotlight put over Ole. It was a lot on the eyes, especially when seeing a bit more wide. But he would manage, he had to. So he kept zooming around, soon in circles, all while the large artificial being was trying to keep up.
Left, right, back, forth. That head was tilting in every direction, following the cat all over the place. The head soon circled around, alongside the movements, as if it wasn't considering how this could mess up its neck. And it didn't seem to care, as it was just repeating the same thing over and over. 'Must protect' .
One might feel sorry in that regard and sympathize yet Ole had no time for that. After all, he had the same mission. Must protect, not just this thing. He had a duty too. He had to protect someone here. And he was going to do that no matter what! Protect at all costs, no matter what it takes!
Step after step, quick steps being taken each time. The smell of smoke only became worse, he wanted to cover his nose the more he smelled it, his nose moving. It was stinky. No, more than that. It was almost unbearable, it felt close to burning. But he had to endure. Just a little longer.
He took the jumping rope out of his mouth all of a sudden. He stretched said rope out, then suddenly... It went quickly, very much so. A few more dashes in the circles, tying up the feet that way as Ole kept it up, making sure that the legs were kept together around the feet. All while he heard the same thing over and over and over and... Yeah, this thing is broken anyways.
A few more circles and then, a quick, loud sound was made as he saw it fall down. The metal crashed onto the cold ground, twitching once it had fallen down. And it was still repeating the same thing. "Must... Protect..." Though slower and weaker, as if it was about to experience a shut down. It had driven crazy, hadn't it? If a machine could even drive crazy to begin with. Then again, anything could be possible in this world, couldn't it?
Ole took a few steps away at first, walking past the robot as if it was nothing. Nothing at all. However, he stopped for a moment as he looked back at it, glaring down at it for a moment. The sight was something else. Sure, it was smelly but also... Has this machine been crushed? Was this the end for it? Hard to say but it was out cold right now.
Was it heartless to just look at it? Do this without mercy? Having no regard whatsoever and crush it right then and there? Maybe but... Well... They both had the same goal, the same idea. And he was not going to be sorry for that. If it kept them safe, then so be it.
"I know that you're not the real deal but... I get it, really. I wanna keep mine safe too. So no hard feelings, youngster."
