One of the easiest words to understand was the following – Location. Well, it sounded at least simpler than one might think. It was the easiest to understand at least. When defining 'location' one may describe it as a place where something happens or is situated. Yet given the vagueness of this navigator, it would be a hassle to figure out so they had to take a shot in the dark.
For days they had tried to type in locations coming to mind whenever spotting Miyuki. Like 'Station square' or 'Stage' or 'That one alleyway Miyuki Ishikawa often takes on her way to somewhere'. But none of these worked. It was starting to get irritating. They felt as if they were running out of time. Granted, Pipistrello had not given them a timeframe. It only told them to take care of Miyuki and find that palace but something told them to hurry all the same. It was like searching for a needle in a haystack though. Just when they thought that it would be the easiest to figure out it wasn't. Heck, they even typed in random locations across Tokyo but they always got something across the line of 'no results' or 'no match'. They were so close to toss their phone across the room or on the floor yet held themself back from doing so.
Even when they had been just wandering around they just couldn't think of anything. At that point they had been walking home with the navigator app open, thinking of more places to fill out here. But no, a mere guessing game wouldn't bring anyone further ahead. It was the worst. This was starting to get annoying, unbearably so. Frustration made them want to quit but they couldn't. They had to take this chance, learning the methods of the Phantom Thieves. Did they have access to this 'cognitive world' perhaps? And if so were they also going through this constant pain of a guessing game? They were starting to wonder... If so being them must be even more of a pain. First the police on your ass, then playing whatever this guessing thing was. Seriously... They were never envying them but now even less. Must be—
"Young lady." They heard a voice stick out, a deep one. It would have not gotten their attention however had it not been for the one responding.
"Ah, Rhulk. There you are~" This voice said. And of course they didn't even need to guess twice, hence why they had been turning into that direction.
There they spotted Ishikawa, of course they did. Yet it was not just her. She had been standing in front of a man who had been standing right behind a car – A very tall man. No, really, one of the tallest they had ever seen. Maybe a little over six feet tall... If not more than that. He wore a long ponytail with his black hair and his eyes were golden, similar to Ishikawa's. Not much more could be seen of his face, him concealing his lower half of the face by a mere mask. His uniform resembled the one of a classical butler... Except that the parts which would usually be colored black for a butler uniform were some dark red, so dark that it nearly looked like some rustic metal. It was not, or they hoped that it wasn't at least.
"You must not address me directly." The butler said, his voice awfully clam yet also coming out as somewhat emotionless. Yet did it bother the brunette in front of him? Of course not. She seemed to be in awfully good spirits.
"Too bad. I want to~" Though after that light chuckle her smile faded, yet a rather... Calm, neutral expression. "Wait, is it already that late?"
Her question was only answered with a nod before opening the door of the car right behind himself. The butler did not say another word it seemed. Or maybe he was just the type who didn't speak until being spoken to. Who knew.
"Hah, even now my parents insist on a curfew." Ishikawa sighed, shaking her head. "But fine. I have to play the role of a good daughter, don't I?" Her head wandered to the butler, giving him a short glance before smiling. "Thank you for picking me up and escorting me home as always~"
Not even waiting for a response she entered the car and the door closed shortly after. It was... Also a bit odd to look at. They didn't expect to witness something like this. It was early evening yet even this girl had a curfew? How curious... That her parents would— Ah! It hit them! There was one place they didn't try yet!
They turned away, just as they heard the car engine start and the car driving away yet that was not important, at least not at that point. What mattered was the word they had to type in! Or rather words. And that's what they did.
" Ishikawa Residence "
' Match found '
Yes! That's one more problem solved! Although... The most challenging thing was just to come. After all... What the heck is a 'Distortion'!?
