The plan was the following... As the lecture was not held until the second day in the afternoon it would give them some free time at least. The two had discussed it, attending the festival a day earlier than probably necessary. The excuse? 'Checking out the venue', though there may have been more to it than that. Not like it had really mattered to begin with. It was just an investigation in the end, wasn't it? One where they couldn't raise any suspicion. At least it had been on their end. It would be best to show up in casual clothes then. And that was the plan in the end.

The days had gotten colder so they picked out something warmer. And since it was work stuff they had decided to use one of the attires as 'Anja', whether they felt like it or not. Ok, that day they kinda felt like it at the time anyways. So it was not that big of a deal. The clothes of choice? A black, turtleneck sweater with long sleeves, one they could easily slip their hands beneath should it get too cold. A skirt in the matching color, going down to their kneecaps. To keep their feet warm they wore long stockings beneath. And just to contrast all the black they wore they decided for some white boots, just to somewhat match it and not look too depressing perhaps. Of course they were extra warm! It was very important to do just that or one would catch a cold! It was nothing special though, just their casual set of clothing for cold days.

Though when having arrived at the train station to meet up with the one who had gotten them into this mess to begin with they were... Only shaking their head, sighing. In fact they even had their arms crossed in front of their chest when they saw how Akechi decided to show up, at least for today. "Your uniform, seriously?" They had even asked.

The response? "Well, it is a work day, isn't it?"

"I mean I guess but... You're gonna stick out like a sore thumb."

"I think people would recognize me regardless of my outfit."

"They'd take their time if you— Hah, whatever. Not like it matters I suppose." Yeah, no point in arguing about this now. It won't be their problem anyways, would it?

Though their mood seemed to have done an almost complete 180 once having arrived at Shujin. Actually, they had heard about it by then but who didn't? This would be the first time they would set foot in this school. Given all the rumors and recent incidents surrounding the school one would expect it to be a place with a rather gloomy atmosphere. Or a dangerous one. Yet... To anyone's surprise, at least during the festival... It was rather lively. Of course their legs went a little stiff when realizing just how many people were attending. It didn't look like that on the outside yet once entering the school building it had started to feel a little crowded... Maybe a bit too crowded for their liking. Sure, not as bad as the trains on a weekday yet it was enough for them to just latch onto the next best person they knew and not letting go. And that next best person of course was Akechi. Who else could it have been?

They didn't even pay attention when he had probably asked them something, just wanting to remain calm. At that moment they didn't even care about the possible danger, let alone that they would probably cause a misunderstanding. They just wanted to remain calm, or at least as calm as they could manage by then. Just stay put, stay calm... Deep breath, it's not so bad. Not so bad. It'll be fine. It will be—

"Uwah! Look, over there!" They heard one girl say out loud all of a sudden and before knowing it the duo had been approached by a small group of school girls, all wearing the Shujin uniform. And they were sure to gather around him. It was as if they were air. But... Maybe that wasn't so bad.

"Woha! It's really Akechi–Kun!"

"You look even lovelier in person!"

"Hey, do you want to visit our class attraction maybe? I'm sure you'll like it!"
