"Ohoho, so you have found out who they are? Took you long enough~"
"Hah, that's great and all... What are we supposed to do with that information?"
"Oh, thank you for asking gramps. If you ask me, we should scout the Palace and find a good seat to enjoy the show, shouldn't we?"
"Wha— But—"
"There would be no reason to enter the Palace though, would it?" They just had to ask at that point. After all, if someone else would handle Okumura, then why bother getting themselves in danger in the first place? That didn't make any sense to them. However, that had been the original argument until Pipistrello had brought up a fair point.
"Now, that is true. If someone else is present, then there would be no need whatsoever for us to show up. But think about it... You're still skeptical if you've found out about the Phantom Thieves or not."
"That... Well... Yeah. It's just an assumption..."
"See? Don't you want to see if you have had the right hunch? You know how they work now. So... Why not take a look at it yourself? Just to fact check if it's really them or not just some random highschoolers who happen to know about the same things you do."
That was why they had agreed. It was not a logic they would have opposed in the slightest and still weren't going to do so. Right, they only had overheard them but they didn't have witnessed it nor had concrete evidence. And yet they had also been wondering what Pipistrello had been planning now. 'No story has a coincidence' and they were believing that more and more. What if this had been no coincidence either? What if it had tipped them off right then and there? What if it knew all along that this would happen?
They were so close to getting behind the Phantom Thieves now that they didn't want to stop at that moment. It was too good to be true. They weren't sure what they were going to do with this information yet. But they were not going to back out now! Not like they had any chance to begin with.
The agreement had been there and that was when Pipistrello had suggested the following: "That means we're going to have a little tour around this Palace. Hope you have ever dreamed of being in space~"
"Huh? But why would we–" They wanted to ask yet got interrupted moments later by Ole.
"To investigate and secure the quickest and safest route? Is that why?" He asked.
"Bingo!" Pipistrello answered right away. "We need to know where we're going. So a little bit of a tour never hurt anyone~"
Though it had a point, hence why they had nodded, having agreed to this.
So, as soon as possible, the trio found themself inside the Palace, right at this very moment. Though unlike the first time they had visited one it was... A little too easy. Or so it had felt like. While they had been afraid to take one step after the other in Miyuki's Palace this one felt... A little safer?
Of course it wasn't, all types of security systems were deployed – From biometric doors to lasers to alarms. Not to mention the security robots scouting the area on every floor, but those were quickly defeated by Ole as he just picked them up and smashed them against the wall, making them unable to function and allowing the duo (or trio rather but Pipistrello was keeping contact via their phone) to proceed.
The inside did resemble a spaceship, one which would be seen in sci–fi movies. It was overall futuristic, equipped with all types of technology. It looked all a little too complicated to understand. Not to mention that every single employee inside was nothing but a machine, a disposable expense running on energy. Most of the robots were small, insignificant though also looking as if they had been at the brink of breaking. Honestly it was a little painful to look at. Not just that but some had collapsed midway through their duties and had been carried away.
