They had noted down the date inside the calendar, the day they had decided to conduct their research. After a few debates with Ole within the Metaverse. The cat had his protests, especially since last time.

"You want to go investigate another Palace on your own!?" He had yelled at them, his face being anything but pleased. Honestly, he was a little angry, his tail having even stood up right then and there, and he was close to growling. "Not a chance!"

"H... Hey! You're sleeping more often since our last Palace endeavor. I'm just looking out for you too, you know."

"What!? You think I can't handle it just because I'm old!? No way! You won't go there all by yourself! I'm coming with you, whether you—"

"No, I don't think so, gramps." Pipistrello of course had to get itself into this mess of a conversation. "You'll need your energy for the big bang. Besides, I'm here with Lukie Annie too. They'll be fine."

Ole didn't like the sound of that, his growling almost turning into a hiss. "Oh? And how can I be sure that you're not going to get them involved into anything inconvenient? Or even nearly—"

"I kept them save the first time, didn't I?"

"That... Yes but—"

"And I'll do it again. Don't worry old man, they're save with me. It'd be no fun if they died right here after all, would it~?" The way it had said such a thing was a little unsettling yet by that point everyone knew that they could not do anything about it. Ole had agreed to it, though begrudgingly yet again. He really didn't want to yet what choice did he have? There was no winning this. And Pipistrello had a point.

"Fine. But if I see as much as a scratch on them... I'll think of something."

Now, a jump to the 15th September...

And that's how they had been there by themself. Honestly, there had not been much Ole could have done anyways as the task was usually to first find out what the keywords are. They had two, name and location were usually the easiest. However, that left at least one more open. And they had to figure out what that could have been. So they had snuck right to where the headquarters were, the massive building which reached very high up. Not right into the sky yet enough floors that it would make one shiver if they had to work at the highest floor and look down.

They had a good glimpse at it when looking up, having to lift their head even. This was it? Then again, what else were they expecting really? It of course had to be a big headquarters. Question was how to get in? Or should they just wait for someone to come out and ask them for intel on Okumura? The people inside the building should know what he was like. And the best way to figure out the keywords was to do some sniffing around! And they had intended to do just that. However, some twisted fate had decided that this would not be necessary in the slightest. Because just as they had this plan set up they heard a voice shouting out of nowhere...

"Holy crap, this place is huge..." Or not necessarily yelling but loud enough for them to hear. It drew enough attention for them to turn right into this direction, right where the voice had come from. It was a young guy at the very least. Maybe this one had come alone and wasn't a local? It was not unusual for tourists to pay the sight a visit. However, to their surprise, there was none of that.

Instead their gaze met a group of highschoolers. Judging from their uniforms there were Shujin students among them, four to be exact. A blonde guy, a brown haired girl with short hair, a black haired guy with glasses and a blonde girl wi—

Wait, hold on! Stop, pause! Wait a minute... One of these faces looked familiar to them! More than familiar actually! This was... The girl who had suddenly grabbed her when they had been at the train station and were so close to... They dare not think about it again but they knew who this one was! Takamaki Ann!? What was she doing here!?
