After a bit of a break they just wanted to shove the thought aside for a moment. They were not going to deny it anymore yet it had been the first time they had said it out loud in their head... And it felt... Like something. It was hard to describe. It wasn't as if they had never been aware, they were always at least somewhat aware of it. But actually thinking it out loud was something else. Saying it out loud though? No way this would happen.

Though then they also 'remembered' that they wanted to check something out on the second floor, which led to the duo heading somewhere else. Yet when Akechi seemed to have spotted something from afar, as soon as the two of them were at the second floor, he excused himself. They were more than fine with this however, needing to calm down from their previous thought anyways, so they took a look at the art exhibit. It wasn't a 'fancy' art exhibit, obviously not, yet it was hosted by one of the second year classes. Or placed in their room at least. And they wanted to take a look.

All while taking this black bird of a plush along. Come to think of it, they forgot to ask what bird it was. Hmm... Maybe a crow? Crows aren't round but that was probably just to increase its cuteness factor. And they couldn't think of another bird which was black. There were probably some yet they were no expert, obviously. In any case, they had taken a bit of their time before leaving the room, only to spot Akechi with a— Wait, that group...

They dared to not say a word nor show themself. Instead they hid behind one of the signs closeby, to listen in on the conversation, at least a little.

"I'm going to have one of these." That one belnged to Akechi and he was getting closer to the table, where there was some... Takoyaki? Huh... And one of them was all red. Wait, don't tell them—

The girl with the pink sweater over her uniform and puffy hair gasped. "The 'special ' one!"

"Let's just call this my performance fee."

"But—"

"It's fine." The blonde guy interrupted, seeming to have a girn on his face. D... Does he know? No, do they all know? But barging in just like tha– And Akechi had gulped it down in one bite. Yeah, they already knew where this was going to go. If this was something spicy, then again given that this takoyaki was all red it would not be surprise, his stomach should act up at any moment now.

"Mmm, it's quite deli—" Yep, there we go... The painful groan as he held a hand over his face, probably to hide his pained expression right now.

"Eating it in one bite is a bad idea..."

"Ngh... My throat...! Urgh! This is...! Ohh... Oh, my stomach... It burns!" They were in between pitying him or finding this type of karma hilarious. This is why you don't eat someone else's food, especially without asking.

"Are you okay? Do you need water?"

"I–I'm... I'm fine! I just love... Uh..." He was thinking really hard here. " Spicy— Spicy stuff... Haha... Hah..." What a lie. Even they could lie better than that. This guy has a worse spice tolerance than their father.

"Hey, does he sound broken to you?" The orange haired girl asked.

"W–Well then... I'll... I'll see you... Uh... t–t–tomorrow." And with that they saw him walking— Wait, no, waddling away from the table. He was clearly trying to walk in a straight line but it was more hilarious to look at. They had to try so hard to not burst out laughing. The sight was something else. Sure, it was probably painful but the sight on its own... He was trying not to trip. And he probably was heading for the public toilets right this moment, just to recover. Which meant that they had some time now!

So their gaze went back to the group for a moment. He had talked to them, the Phantom Thieves. Yet they didn't know if he knew. But if he did then this could be dangerous. They should get to know them as well, shouldn't they? Just in case, and to get a closer look at their faces. It was all or nothing! And besides, they had an excuse, given that they had gotten to somewhat know one of them. Alright... Now or never. Just when they had stopped talking about something too. Perfect timing!
