"GO."
Before Sebek could raise his wand y/n hit him with a disillusion spell, Sebek's sight failed him, his surroundings were covered in fog.
"E— eh!?" He turned left and right. If he could not see certainly the human couldn't.
"What? Has your sight failed you?" A voice asked from behind him.
He whipped around, but no one was behind him. "Show yourself human!"
"Come now. Sight isn't all you have. I cannot see you. You cannot see me. Otherwise this fight would be utterly unfair. Don't you think?" Y/n giggled.
Sebek growled, closeing his eyes and readying his pen. "I've got you now..." y/n whispered.
Sebek's body was covered in a thick silk capturing the young fae in a cocoon. He fell to the ground with a soft thump.
"1."
Sebek struggled against his bindings.
"2."
Y/n waited in the cover of the fog. Waiting to see if his classmate would be able to break free.
"3."
Malleus held his breath. There's no way a normal mortal just took down a half-fae in less than a minute.
"4."
Sebek had been trained to be a soldier since he was young. His grandfather was the Baur Zigvolt! He had been trained by the general Lilia Vanrouge! He would not be beat by some nobody human!
"5–" Sebek broke through the silk cocoon. Jumping to his feet, he summoned a wind spell, ridding the fog his classmate had been hiding in.
Sebek grinned, y/n's eyes widened as he felt something wrapped around his ankle; he cut it with a shredding spell.
"Watch out now. Mall-Chan is watching~" y/n teased nodding towards the sitting horned man.
Sebek gritted his teeth, "Shut up." Y/n cackled, summoning a bear made out of water. Sebek blocked the spell, only for it to hit his shield; breaking it, the water from the bear soaked him. He hissed, "You're really starting to piss me off."
"I'm shaking." Y/n teased mockingly shaking.
The duel only ended when y/n ran out of magic and the teacher called Sebek's victory. Y/n stood panting, wiping his forehead with the back of his hand.
"Good duel." Y/n held a hand out to Sebek who took it.
"You're exceptional for a human." He panted.
"Maybe catch your breath before getting cocky, vampire." The young human student walked back to his chair.
"You did very well y/n." Malleus complained.
Y/n smiled, "Thanks Malleus-Sama!" Malleus smiled, nodding to Sebek as the fae sat at his side.
"Well done to you as well, Sebek." Malleus patted said fae on the back.
"Thank you Waka-Sama!!" Sebek blushed, his eyes filled with stars.
Y/n pouted, "Why don't I get a pat on the back!?" He asked, crossing his arms.
Malleus' eyes widened, "HOW DARE YOU DEMAND THINGS FROM WAKA-SAMA!" Sebek yelled in horror.
"I am not demanding!" Y/n leaned back in his chair, balancing himself on two legs.
"It is quite alright Sebek." Malleus smiled, gently patting the young Savanaclaw student on the back. "Well done, y/n" Y/n pushed his chair back onto four legs. Smiling at his upperclassmen.
