"Senior..." the attorney quietly told him and I was just listening while I stared at the food on my plate, paminsan-minsan kong balingan si senior to check his reaction. There was nothing until the attorney was finished.
Senior's eyes started to get teary and he had small sobbing.
Hindi ko din mapigilang maiyak para sa kanya. Imagine, your daughter is gone without knowing tapos ilang buwan na ang nakakalipas saka mo pa lang malalaman. Kitang-kita ko sa mga mata nya ang halo-halong emosyon na hindi ko maiintindihan dahil wala ako sa kanyang posisyon, ang naiintindihan ko lang ay ang sakit na nararamdaman nya. Napunas sya ng luha sa kanyang mga mata.
"Hindi man lang ako nakapag-luksa para sa anak ko." sabi niya, still in pain. Hindi na din ako nakasagot, hindi ko alam kung anong dapat sabihin. "I'll..." hindi niya din alam ang gagawin niya. "I'll visit their grave soon... or later after this. You will join me right?" I just nod.
"I guess I'll have to tag along." sabi naman ni attorney. They were all in pain knowing that my mom is already dead. Nakakalungkot lang na hindi ko nalaman na may iba pang nagmamahal sa mama ko maliban samin, maliban sa maliit na mundong ginawa nila para sakin.
