017. GENERATOR ROOM ATTACK

Chapter seventeen

"Generator room attack."

It had been a day, as they all were then moving their vehicles inside the fence and as they were Katniss was dragging all the walkers that were on the lawn into one pile to make it easier to put them in the truck and burn them "okay, let's get the other car in. Park em in the west entry of the yard." Rick shared "good. Are vehicles out there look like a giant vacancy sign." Daryl shared "after that we need to load up these corpses on burn them." Rick shared "preferably sooner then later. They're starting to smell worse then usual." Katniss shared, throwing one onto the pile, T Dog chuckled "it's gonna be a long day." he said.

"Where's Glenn and Maggie? We can use some help." Carol shared "up in the guard tower." Daryl shared "guard tower? They were just up there last night." Rick shared "Glenn! Maggie!" Daryl called out, as Glenn walked out, buttoning his pants having no shirt on "hey, what's up guys?" he asked, as Rick laughed "you coming?" Daryl asked "what!" Glenn voiced, as they all chuckled even Katniss "you comin?" Daryl asked, as Glenn looked to Maggie "come on, we can use a hand." Daryl shared, as they all turned, walking to the last two vehicles.

"Can I drive the bike in?" Katniss asked "not by yourself. You'll fall over." Daryl shared, as Carol and Rick laughed "hey, Rick!" T Dog voiced, as the four of them turned around seeing the two prisoners, Rick began walking toward's them, Daryl followed him while she and Carol followed after him "that's close enough. We had an agreement." Rick told them "please, mister. We know that. We made a deal." Axel shared, as Maggie and Glenn walked out of the tower "but you gotta understand. We can't live in that place another minute you follow me? All the bodies. People we knew. Blood, brains everywhere. There's ghosts." the prisoner shared.

"Why don't you move the bodies out?" Daryl asked "you should be burning them." T Dog shared " we tried. We did." Axel said "the fence is down on the far side of the prison. Every time we drag a body out, those things just line up. Dropping the body and just running back inside." Oscar said "look, we had nothing do with Thomas and Andrea. Nothing." Axel shared, walking toward's them, Carol put her arm in front of Katniss "you trying to prove a point? You proved it, bro. Will do whatever it takes to be part of your group. Just please, please..don't make us live in that place." Axel shared.

"Our deal is non negotiable. You either live in your cell block, or you leave." Rick told them "I told you this was a waste of time. They ain't no different then the pricks that shot up our boys. You know how many friends corpses we had to drag out this week? Just threw em out, like. These were good guys. Good guys who had our back against the really bad dudes in the joint like Thomas and Andrew. Now, we've all made mistakes to get in here, chief. And I'm not gonna pretend to be a saint, but believe me...we've paid our due..enough then we would rather hit that road than to go back into that shit hole." Oscar shared, as Rick turned looking at Daryl, he shook his head, no, as Rick looked back at them.

Where Daryl was locking them up behind the gate near the entrance, as Katniss stood behind the bus with Carol, Glenn, Maggie, Rick and T Dog where T Dog said something that shocked them all, as Daryl walked over "are you serious? You want them living in the cell next to you? They'll just be waiting for a chance to grab our weapons. You wanna go back to sleeping with one eye open?" Rick asked "I never stopped. Bring them into the fold. Look we send em off packing we might as well execute them ourselves." T Dog shared "I don't know Axel seems a little unstable." Glenn shared.

"After all we've been through. We fought so hard for all this, what if they decide to take it?" Carol asked "it's just been us for so long. They're strangers. I don't..it feels weird all of a sudden having other people around." Maggie shared "you brought us in." T Dog told her "cause Carl had been shot." Katniss reminded him "didn't give us a choice." Maggie told him "they can't even kill walkers." Glenn said "they're convicts, bottom line." Carol said "those two might actually have less blood on their than we do." T Dog shared.
