--- Rooster's Point of View ---

"Thank you so much for taking her last minute." I thanked our babysitter handing her money with a smile, Aurora was happy to see me, she was hugging me with her head laid down on my shoulder, I could tell that she was exhausted, clearly had been having fun playing.

"No problem, she is wonderful."

"Thank you again." I smiled at her

I walked out to my car and put her in the back seat, I started to drive back to our resident, after a moment I looked over my shoulder and saw that she was sleeping.

When I got home I was careful to take her out and into the house, putting her right down to bed, turning on the camera monitor I left the room shutting the door softly behind me.

When I left the room I walked into our room, she was still sleeping.

I sat down on the large chair in the corner and thought things over, what was I going to do?

What would happen when Hangman found out about her pregnancy?

I knew that I had to keep her and the baby safe, even though the baby was Hangman's I loved the little one already like it was my own, and I knew that I had to keep them safe.

A part of me knew that I couldn't hide her forever, so deep down I knew that he was going to find out, but I knew that I was going to have to fight for her and the child.

--- Hangman's Point of View ---

{One Week Later}

I had been shifted to the night shift opposite of Rooster, I knew that he knew that I was here, he didn't make contact with me and I knew that I shouldn't push it right now, and I wanted to give it some time.

So I spent this first week getting settled and getting to know my area, it was different from California, so different, but I liked the peace and quiet, I could see why they came here.

I hadn't seen Stella yet, but I had seen Rooster and Aurora at the park, he was pushing her on the swing.

That bothered me, also she was off duty, and it wasn't clear why she was.

So finally, I found out where they were staying and I felt like I had to make the first move, regardless of what was going to happen.

I stayed up longer than I should and when I knew that he was working, and I made my way over to the house.

I walked up the street slowly in my normal clothes, I looked up and my heart skipped a beat, I could see her standing in the front yard, they had a small play set and she was watching Aurora on the small slide.

I looked at her, pain laced through y chest, even from this distance I could see the ring on her finger, signifying that she was Roosters wife.

Losing my nerve at seeing that I turned around.

This wasn't the right time, and it wasn't the right way, I walked quickly down the street, I had to approach this better, not just spring myself on her.
