"In here were the names of everyone under my command all over the world. Since those greedy bastards didn't know better, it's best to replace all of them to keep our family's power."

Family's power.

That was right.

With everything that happened, Lisa's main concern was their family's dwindling influence. People were coming at them from all directions, taking advantage of this moment's weakness.

Lisa held his wife's eyes momentarily, studying the unwavering determination in her eyes. When a shallow breath slipped past his nostrils, he gazed down at the folder between them. He didn't say anything as he checked the content, furrowing his brows at the nauseating long list of names and information that was in it.

The list was long, and just skimming through it could make one person dizzy. But other than that shallow thought, Lisa squinted his eyes. The names in here weren't just names, but more information about their occupation and which country to find them.

"This list..." Lisa breathed out as he slowly lifted his eyes to her. "Are you sure you're giving it to me?"

Jennie let out a short laugh. "Why do you sound so surprised?" she glanced at the folder in his hand.

"Didn't we agree we'll start with a clean slate? It would be foolish to keep things from you when we could be working together." The corner of her mouth stretched, taking another step to close their distance. "But I have to tell you, not everyone on this list was easy to command or deal with. They listen to Jane, but I'm not sure if they will listen to Jennie. After all, not everyone can just simply accept I came back in this body when they grieved for me. Not to mention, I am with a child and it won't be safe for the baby to get through them one by one."

"But even so, I believe in you." She paused and smiled, nodding at him encouragingly. "I'm sure even without using Jane's name, you'll manage to get them on our side."

Silence once again descended between them. They held their gaze strongly before Lisa looked down at the first document.

"There's even... a president of the nation," he whispered, skimming through the first document and then the next.

Lisa didn't need to read everything word for word at the moment. Every single one of the names had a significant position in the places they were. Some were politicians, having the highest and most influential ranks in the country. There were also militaries, other government agencies, businessmen, and even some international celebrities.

If this list goes out to the public, it will surely change everyone's perspective.

How could all these significant figures be under another person's command?

Did Lisa wonder how vast Jane's power was? This list answered everything. He wouldn't even come close.

'Amazing...' he whispered in his heart, in awe of just how powerful that little girl who was now his wife was.

Meanwhile, Jennie studied her husband's reaction as he skimmed through the documents. For some reason, she was a little nervous about what would be his reaction. After all, this only explained why she was not so surprised how those officials turned their backs on Lisa.

This world had been corrupted from the beginning. And people like her were one of the reasons.

"Uhm, Lisa?" she called after another minute of silence, waiting for him to look back at her. "What do you think?"

"Hmm?"

"About that list." She jerked her chin. "I'm getting nervous, you know? Since I don't know if this is the right time to drop another bomb."

His eyes softened as a chuckle escaped his mouth. "I'm just... speechless. My wife is amazing." Lisa gazed at the document again, catching a name who was working in the Central Intelligence.

"I know this man," he confessed, pointing at a man's name, who turned out to be at the helm of the International Central Intelligence. "Is he perhaps, Joker?"

"No. Joker is a completely different person." She shook her head, smiling upon seeing Ram's name. "Joker does all the dirty work, while Ram is there to make sure my men's identity will not enter the system if Joker slipped up."

Lisa looked at his wife's side profile. "Is that why you weren't surprised about my situation?"

"I hate to say it, but yes." Jennie nodded while holding his gaze. "If you deploy many people to infiltrate strong fortresses, expect betrayals."

She drew a deep breath as she looked away. "I want to blame myself for this, but there's no point in entertaining such thoughts." — After all, Lisa wasn't the first person she knew who experienced such betrayal. Unaware of the true commander behind the scenes, others also fell into the same traps.

"This person who wants you to the point it was almost an obsession is scary, Lisa," she continued quietly. "He reminds me... of me."

Lisa furrowed his brows, watching his wife look back at him again.

"Primo Rossi is the name he goes by right now. But according to Bear, the real Primo Rossi is dead," he continued solemnly. "Do you know who the Rossi's was?"

"I have an idea." He pressed his lips into a thin line. "They're a cartel that Marcus Manoban is a part of."

Jennie nodded in satisfaction, pleased Lisa seemed to have made his research. "That's right. Primo Rossi is the new don after the previous don died. But that is not important. What's important is that the man acting as Primo Rossi is an entirely different person."

"Let's sit." She tipped her head and dragged her feet to the couch, settling on it while Lisa sat beside her. "I have a guess how things went down."

"You mean, this Primo Rossi used the Red Scorpion Gang... and planned to bury all of us altogether?" Her brows rose at his guess, a bit surprised at how his words were the same as hers. "We were investigating, and I should thank your men for that. They'd been helpful. Very helpful, especially Tiger and Mr. Cruel."

Her face instantly died at her husband's remarks. "Darling, don't hang out with Tiger so much. He'll just corrupt you."

"Haha. He's good."

"No, he's not!" She shook her head. "Trust me."

"But Mr. Cruel had been on the watch." Lisa smiled reassuringly, planting his hand on hers. "Thank you for helping me out. It's very helpful, and I'll do my best to use this information to our advantage."

Jennie smiled as she held his hand and guided it to her stomach. "I'll be cheering on you."
