"This is the finance department..." Jisoo led the board of directors to each department, explaining the strong points of each department. The old members of the board already knew most of the things Jisoo spoke about, but they still took this time to inspect the departments.
"Greetings!"
Everyone in the finance department rose from their seats, bowing to greet the board of directors and the CEO of the company. Inspections like this happened every few months. Some of them were surprised inspections, but today, they received a memo from the higher office. Therefore, they all prepared for today's visit.
Jisoo signaled the head of the department to tour the board and give them a rundown of the department's situation. Taking this break, Jisoo checked his phone for any important messages. Seeing one seemingly unimportant message, deep lines appeared between his brows.
"Sir." Jisoo immediately searched for Lisa within the group, rushing to Lisa's side as the latter was standing near the head department's desk.
Lisa arched a brow, lowering his head as Jisoo spoke quietly to his side. His brows furrowed at the news Jisoo told him, gazing at his assistant with confusion.
"Should I deploy the security?" Jisoo inquired quietly, looking around cautiously.
"Did you say Mr. Cruel is already checking the security?"
"Yes."
"Then there's no need to raise panic." Lisa straightened his back while Jisoo cocked his head to the side. "Unless they asked for help, then it's still not an emergency to create panic."
Lisa sported his usual business smile as he glanced at the board of directors who were scattered around the finance department. Meanwhile, Jisoo couldn't help but look at his boss with bafflement.
That was strange, Jisoo thought. Normally, Lisa would panic if his wife got away from his line of sight. He expected Lisa to worry or immediately order everyone for a search. However, not only Lisa didn't order a search, but it didn't seem Lisa was worried.
Was it because the young madam was still within the company grounds? Therefore, they could find her in no time?
Jisoo thought about it thoroughly before he shrugged. Considering how the security in the company strengthened in the past months, the young madam couldn't get abducted.
'Just how troublesome can she be?' his face twitched in dismay, mentally judging Jennie's recklessness. 'How can she get lost in her husband's company? I'm sure she didn't get lost, but more like doing this to get my boss' attention.'
With that thought in mind, Jisoo immediately got rid of any worry he had for Jennie. There was no point in worrying about that spoiled young madam. At this point, Jisoo already told himself he should've gotten used to Jennie's shenanigans and how she would do anything to get her husband's attention. Surely, Jennie did a perfect job of being disliked by Kim Jisoo.

[LYON Group's Security Department]
"You should talk to that Mark, huh?" Tiger lifted his foot, resting it on the vacant chair beside Bear where the latter was reviewing the CCTV footage. "Tell him he should know his place. I am the captain here — meaning, I am your boss. You guys can't just push me around whenever you feel like it."
Bear didn't respond, keeping his undivided focus on the monitor before him. Meanwhile, Tiger arched a brow as he assessed Bear's side profile.
"Hey, are you listening?" asked Tiger with a vestige of annoyance in his voice. "Your captain is talking to you. What kind of manner is this?"
"Yes, Captain. I'm listening," Bear responded unenthusiastically. "Now, can you please be quiet? If you're not going to help, then keep that damn mouth shut, Captain."
Tiger frowned at his subordinate's lack of respect. Ranks should be very important in this situation. How could this old man disrespect him so boldly? Was it because Bear was old? Thus, he was underestimating Tiger because of their age difference.
Hah! The nerve!
But just before Tiger could say anything, Bear spoke.
"There she is!" Bear's eyes shone while Tiger instinctively gazed at the monitor. Bear fast-forward the footage, following Jennie's trails.
From the footage, Jennie seemed she was just going around the building aimlessly. She first got onto the floor of the new program of the company where they gather new recruits, but then she managed to sneak away. Following her from the recorded footage, they could see her doing sightseeing within the building.
"The hell?" Tiger commented in dismay. "Did she think she's on a field trip?"
"Shh!"
"Hey, man. Even if I talk nonstop here, it wouldn't change the footage. It's not like she's saying anything as well." Tiger clicked his tongue in irritation, rolling his eyes before setting his attention to the monitor. At this point, they saw Jennie almost bumping into a lady, but the latter managed to dodge the lady. Jennie then went into the restroom, only to come with a handful of documents in her arms and an ID around her neck.
"What the heck?" Following where she was going, they soon found out that Jennie had got onto the 40th floor in the art department. "What is she doing? Going incognito?"
Knowing where she was at the moment, Bear didn't waste time as she contacted Mark. It only took one ring before the line was picked up.
"She's on the 40th floor, art department." Bear didn't go around in circles, giving Mark the information he needed.
"In the art department?" Mark stopped in his tracks, brows furrowed. "What is she doing there?"
This time, Bear didn't answer immediately. Instead, he stared at the monitor and watched what Jennie was doing after getting inside the art department. Bear and Tiger watched Jennie with both confusion and disbelief, bewildered by Jennie's action minutes after she arrived in the art department.
"Hey, Bear?" Bear snapped back to the current lapse at the voice from the other end of the line. "What? What is she doing there?"
"Er..." Bear cleared his throat as he described what he thought kept Jennie preoccupied all this time. "She... it seems... she's running errands."
