Losing a body part was considered a small price to pay in the underground world. There were even some practices of taking out a finger or a hand depending on the member's crime. Therefore, there were still many things Primo should be thankful for. He just lost an arm, but he was still alive.

"Ah, ah..." Primo let out short whimpers as the doctor attached a prosthetics to his severed shoulder. He clenched his teeth, as he could still feel a slight pain and discomfort. But unlike the past several months, he could endure such slight pain.

"You'll feel a slight discomfort, but that's normal. Please bear with it."

Primo glanced at the middle-aged woman in front of him. The latter explained how the prosthetic worked while he attentively listened. Losing an arm shouldn't be a problem, thanks to the advanced technology.

"Now, try moving your new hand." The woman took a step back, nodding at him encouragingly.

"Hah..." Keeping a hand on his shoulder, Primo gazed down at his prosthetics. The corner of his mouth curled up as his fingers moved, opening and closing his hand. "How strange."

"It'll take time for you to get used to it, but once you do, you'll feel like you didn't lose an arm."

Primo glanced at the female doctor who had looked after him all these months. "Thank you, Doctor."

"I'm just doing my job, Mr. Rossi." The doctor smiled. "You should try to get used to it, though don't strain yourself too much. Your body is still healing."

"Of course, Doctor." Primo winked charmingly. "Even though I am excited to get out here, my health is my priority. I can't do the things I like if I don't, correct?"

The doctor let out a short laugh. "Very well. I've checked your vitals, and they're showing greater results. Call me if you need my help."

"Alright."

With that being said, the doctor offered him a warm smile before walking away. Meanwhile, when the doctor closed the door behind her, Primo raised his metallic arm while staring at it.

"Hmm..." he rocked his head in satisfaction. "Well, I guess I'm not as angry as I was before to Joker. Punching someone with this is a total K.O."

The side of his lips stretched from ear to ear, displaying his teeth until his eyes were squinting. He was truly pleased by this result, although it would take him some time to get used to it.

"She said I should try to get used to it." Primo smacked his lips, assisting himself up. The feeling of discomfort on his side, specifically on his severed shoulder, felt heavy. However, he endured it. "It's heavier than I thought."

He shrugged nonchalantly, keeping his other hand on top of his shoulder and prosthetics. He dragged his feet, limping, to take a quick walk outside. Walking around was something he would do when he regained a bit of strength. His priority was to get better well, after all. It had been almost a year since Joker bombed his shoulder.

Elmo was the one managing all his businesses. However, this long disappearance would cause problems if he didn't return immediately.

"Ugh..." Primo huffed as he stepped out of his room, looking from left to right. No one was around the long and spotless hallway. Not something surprising.

This facility, situated in the middle of nowhere, was a special hospital where only some people could be admitted. It was filled with capable doctors equipped with advanced technology. It was said that they could revive even the dead with how advanced their medical research had reached. However, he thought that was a bit of a stretch.

For Primo, this hospital was just like any other hospital. The only difference was that it was built in the middle of nowhere, and the security and confidentiality were superb, but the price was quite overpriced. Not that it was ever a problem for him.

Primo dragged himself through the corridor, trying to get used to the added Baeght on his shoulder. Getting used to it, the faster, the better. However, that was easier said than done. Before he could reach the end of this seemingly endless quiet hallway, he was already sweating buckets and panting for air.

"Goodness. I'm totally out of shape," he mused, taking things lightly. Another deep breath slipped past his mouth before he took another step forth, only to stop as he caught people walking across the end of the hallway.

This was the first time Primo had seen people in this facility. Most of the time, he only sees his doctor and nurses and then Elmo. It wasn't surprising, considering this facility paid extra attention to everyone's security and confidentiality. All Primo knew was that all dangerous and influential people all across the globe would stay there, as this was the only facility they could trust. Just like Primo.

Primo stood several steps from the end of the hallway, staring at the several people in lab coats marching in a direction. They didn't even turn their heads to where he stood.

"Hmm?" He hummed as his eyes veered on the group behind the first batch. Another group of medical personnel were following behind, wheeling a bed they were surrounding. All of them were in uniforms except for a man in a fitted suit.

Curious, Primo tilted his body to the side. He stretched his neck for a bit to get a glimpse of the patient on the bed. Based on the amount of group personnel assisting the patient, this person must be very special.

'Hmm?' Primo knitted his brows, catching a glimpse of the patient these people were taking with them. 'Who is she? She seems quite young to be this important.'

A daughter of a president? A royal descent? For sure, it wasn't a celebrity. No celebrity would ever get in this facility or would ever know about this place's existence.

"That's intriguing," he murmured, dragging his feet to the end of the hallway. As soon as he reached it, he turned his head in the direction the group went to.

All of them were standing in front of an elevator, still surrounding the bed while waiting for the lift to open. It didn't take long before all of them got in. As they moved the bed, Primo caught another glimpse of the patient.

"No doubt," he whispered. "It's a woman. I wonder what made her special?"

Instead of going for a walk, Primo limped his way to the lift. Standing in front of it, he set his focus on the numbers to know where that woman's room was.
