Company dinners would happen at least once a month in each department. It was a way for the company to treat its hardworking employees. But to be honest, in Jennie's opinion, it wasn't enough compensation for her workmates. Since when did she care?

"Newcomer, you've been with us the whole day, but we haven't known your name."

Jennie snapped her eyes at the female worker across the long table. She blinked and then scanned everyone around the same table as her. They were all looking at her, the lifelessness in their eyes the whole day disappeared just because of this treat, which she called a bribe.

"Tsk tsk. You lot... how can you ask her for errands without even knowing her name?" Mr. Yang, the host of tonight's dinner, clicked his tongue in disappointment. "Her name is Pepsi."

"Pepsi? Like the soda?" Jennie muttered along with everyone's confused murmuring. 'That's my name? Since when?'

"*cough*" She arched a brow and glanced at the table near them, seeing Mark coughing continuously as if he almost choked on his own food. Bear and Mark were also eating at the table that wasn't that close to them, but still close enough to hear their conversation.

"Yes, right, Pepsi?" Mr. Yang proudly smiled, casting Jennie a look. "Pepsi, oy. Errand girl!"

Jennie flinched as she peeled her gaze from her bodyguards to Mr. Yang. "Uh, yes. That's right. I'm Pepsi."

"..." Her workmates looked at Jennie with slight pity. Did her parents love her?

"Everyone, let's welcome Pepsi into our team!" Mr. Yang announced while Jennie smiled. "Come up, errand girl, and say a few things to your new family!"

"Ahem." As instructed, Jennie rose from her seat, flashing everyone a wide smile. "Uhm. I really don't know what to say because I wasn't prepared for this. But thank you for welcoming me. I hope we all get along well."

The employees around the table smiled back, clapping mildly after her short speech. Meanwhile, Mr. Yang seemed to be in a good mood as he spoke right after.

"Tonight, the company is rewarding our hard work — what a treat! Two company dinners in a month! Eat as much as you can to recover your strength and energy!"

"Yes!!"

The energy that each and every one of them lost returned and Jennie could hear it from their roars. And just like that, everyone happily ate to their heart's content. As they did, Jennie would once in a while pour them drinks or give them food to make sure everyone was eating well. She wasn't as hungry as them, or rather, she still wasn't at their level to have the energy to stress eat.

Meanwhile, Mark and Bear couldn't help but gaze at the employees' table every once in a while. The art department only occupied two long tables in this restaurant.

"She's really into it, huh?" Mark grumbled as he chewed his food. "Look at Pepsi — seriously? That's the name she is using? Can't she think of anything else?"

"I think that's the name of the employee who was accepted into this job," Bear explained, eating his food peacefully. He glanced at Jennie once again and his face softened upon seeing the smile on her face. "Just be happy for her. She never got to experience these things in the past."

"Even if she has the chance, why would she want to experience something so horrible?"

Bear slowly set his eyes on the grumpy 'youth' across from his seat. "Because compared to the fancy dinners she used to have, at least, she isn't afraid that one of her men died just because he tested her food for poison."

Mark slowed down in chewing his food, brows raised as he looked back at the old man. He pursed his lips into a thin line, sighing deeply.

"Just eat your food and don't worry about other things. Let her procrastinate until she decides it's time to make a move," Bear advised calmly before he resumed his meal.

Mark didn't say anything as he glanced at the other table. Another sigh slipped past his nostril, just watching Jennie laugh with her new colleague. His eyes softened, wondering how Jane would look if she was also smiling so brightly, like right now.

"Ah." Suddenly, a thought crossed Mark, and he looked at Bear with this strange expression. "I think I remember who this No One is."

Bear furrowed his brows, staring at Mark with intrigue. "Tell me," he said, watching Mark's lips part as the latter explained a short story in the past.

"Pepsi, did I see you somewhere?" the female employee named Belle looked at Jennie with narrowed eyes. "I think I saw you somewhere, but I don't know where."

"Huh?" Jennie cocked her head to the side, only to realize this same face had a billboard in the middle of the city. Although that billboard was the movie she took part in and her face was just in the background.

"Ha ha. That's impossible, eh?" she nervously laughed while waving her hand. "Maybe if we crossed paths before, but I doubt it. I haven't been going out."

"Well." Belle shrugged and chuckled. "Maybe you just look like her. I mean, you're very pretty, like a celebrity."

"That's right." Another employee chimed in. "Pepsi, with your looks, you could easily become a celebrity."

"Now that you mention it, Pepsi does look like someone!" another employee butted in enthusiastically. "I thought it was just me, but Pepsi resembles Jennie Kim!"

"Gosh. Jennie Kim?" Jennie chuckled, blushing at the compliments thrown at her. "You guys flatter me~!"

Mark and Bear on the side couldn't help but look at her with judgemental eyes. Why was she even blushing? Jennie Kim was an award-winning actress and that same Jennie Kim was her. Had she forgotten about that? But what even surprised them was that none of these employees had seen through her blatant lies.

And just like that, the company dinner went peacefully with Jennie, making friends with her new workmates. She only planned to visit her husband today, but she ended up becoming an employee.

Just what strange luck does this woman have? No one could even tell if this luck was good or actually a bad one.
