5 Years Later

"Uhh, Veerr, get up and check on Amaira. I'm too tired," Nayantara groaned; it was early in the morning.

"Okay," Rajveer got up, still drowsy but ready for his turn to watch over his little princess.

It had been five years since they got married. They had taken their time, and now were finally parents to a lovely baby girl, eight-month-old Amaira.

"Good morning, my princess. You're an early bird, aren't you?" Rajveer cooed, as the little munchkin gave him a toothless grin.

He held her in his arms and walked to the kitchen to warm up her milk, gently swaying her while it heated.

"Bhai Sa?" Lakshay appeared.

"Good morning," Rajveer greeted him, and Lakshay nodded.

"What are you doing here?" Rajveer asked.

"Woh, umm, Sona was hungry, so I had to go out and get her snacks," he said sheepishly.

"Hmm, I understand. The hormones are all over the place at this stage," Rajveer replied knowingly.

Lakshay had gotten married the previous year, and he and Sonalika were now five months pregnant. The first trimester had gone by unnoticed, but now Sonalika was experiencing mood swings and strong cravings.

Aditi was set to get married later this year, after Lakshay and Sonalika welcomed their baby. She was excited and wanted to be present for the birth.

Who is she getting married to? Well, she was wooed by none other than our lovely Arjun.

They had a chaotic relationship. They fought like wildcats but couldn't go too long without talking to each other.

They started their love story after a marketing meet, they had been to, together.

Digvijay was shocked when their relationship was revealed. He was in denial for two straight months until Mandira convinced him. Even now, he still gives Arjun a hard time.

Karan and Ruhanika had twin boys who were two years old, Aarav and Arnav, both absolutely adorable. They doted on their cousin Amaira.

Gautam and Priyanshi, and Anjali and Rushabh had gotten married a year after Nayantara and Rajveer, in a combined ceremony, but that story is for another time.

Coming back to Rajveer and Nayantara, Rajveer returned to their room after Amaira had fallen asleep.

"Good morning, Rani Sahiba," he whispered in her ear.

"Good morning, Hukum," she smiled as he pulled her onto him.

"Amaira is fed and asleep. Everyone else is still in bed. What say, wanna go wild again?" Rajveer teased.

"You are shameless," Nayantara said, eyes wide in mock shock. She was still a bit shy when it came to intimacy.

"This shameless act gave us a beautiful daughter," Rajveer laughed as he kissed her forehead and she hid her face in his chest.
