Author's POV

Finally, the wedding week had arrived. The palace of Sindurgarh was beautifully decorated with flowers and lights—after all, it was their only princess's wedding. The arrangements were in full swing, and joy spread through every street of Sindurgarh.

The wedding was nothing short of a festival. Every house in Sindurgarh was adorned as if it were Diwali. The palace had sent gifts and sweets to its people, and the King and Queen had personally crafted invitations for everyone.

The events were planned as follows: the first day was dedicated to the holy rituals before the wedding, the next day was a grand feast for the people of Sindurgarh, the third day was for the Mehendi ceremony, the fourth for Haldi, followed by Sangeet and Dhol, and finally, the fifth day would be the Wedding.

The Shekhawats had arrived. Anjali, Priyanshi, Gautam, and Rishabh were already there, ready to welcome the groom's party.

"Accha toh sab party badlu hogaye hain," Rajveer remarked as he saw his friends on the other side. (Oh, so everyone has changed sides)

"Ab kya karein, being in the bride's party has its perks. Joote chori ke paise milte hain," Rishabh winked. ("Now what can we do? Being in the bride's party has its perks. We get paid for stealing your shoes.")

"You shameless people," Rajveer teased.

"Always for profit, brother," Gautam laughed.

"You won't get anything, so buzz off," Anjali said, while Priyanshi blushed as Gautam winked at her.

"Oh, Miss Attitude, Nayan is our friend too," Rishabh teased.

"Shut up," Anjali glared at him.

"Oh, ho, stop it, you two. Come, Jiju Sa, welcome!" Ruhanika interrupted.

"Thank you Bhabhi Sa, yeh dono toh nahi rukte warna," Rajveer said. ("Thank you, Bhabhi Sa, or else these two wouldn't have stopped.")

As the Shekhawat family and the friends settled into their rooms, Lakshay and Arjun were in charge of the arrangements, Ruhanika and Karan handled the accommodation for the guests, the parents were available for guidance, and the grandparents were resting in their rooms.

Gautam and Rishabh took on the responsibility of managing the events, while Anjali and Priyanshi were in charge of attending to the last-minute needs of both the bride and the groom.

Aditi was with the parents, welcoming the guests. All arrangements for the Ganesh Pooja were completed. (This was the first ritual before the wedding, inviting Lord Ganesha to bless the union and ensure a smooth, hurdle-free celebration.)

The pooja took place individually for Rajveer and Nayantara. They both longed to see each other, but since the grandparents had advised them not to meet before the wedding, they were not allowed to.

Rajveer had completed his pooja and was now in his room.

"Should I call Tara?" he asked himself, before hitting the call button.

"Hello?" Nayantara answered as soon as she picked up.

"Haan ji, hamari yaad toh nahi aati aapko?" Rajveer said in a teasing voice. (Yes, you don't seem to miss me?)
