Nayantara's POV

The wedding is just a month away, and I can't believe how quickly time has flown. The moments with my family have created so many beautiful memories. And the stunt my sweet, but silly, fiancé pulled was terrifying, but I'm just relieved that he's fine now. I'm so grateful to have him as my partner—he's truly perfect, like the yin to my yang, the Chandler to my Monica. I can't even begin to describe the love I have for him.

I was packing my bags, just a few things I want to take with me that aren't part of my daily routine. It felt overwhelming to fit my entire room into a suitcase. I know this is the start of a new chapter in my life, but why do I have to pack up all my old memories and leave them behind to make room for new ones?

I was on the verge of tears, thinking about the time I've spent with my family, when Maa Sa entered.

"Bacche?" she asked, her voice tinged with concern. But when she saw my suitcase, she understood.

I went to her and hugged her tightly. "Why do I have to leave so soon?" I asked, my voice rough with emotion, my eyes filled with tears.

"Everyone has to go one day. I had to leave my parents when I was 18. That doesn't mean they didn't love me. They found your father worthy of me, just like we found Rajveer Jamai Sa for you," she said, rubbing my back as she held me close.

"I know that, don't start that again. I know he's a great man, but I just don't want to leave one chapter behind to watch another unfold," I said, my voice filled with depth.

"Aree, Bacche, you have another set of parents and grandparents. You'll have a sister-like sister-in-law, and like Arjun, you'll have Lakshay," Maa Sa said, trying to calm me.

"Why do you always have to be so practical? Just for once, can you pamper me, please?" I said, sobbing.

"Okay, okay... We'll bring Ghar-Jamai. Should I talk to Prithvi Ji about it?" Maa Sa laughed.

"Maa Saaa," I said, half-laughing and still sobbing.

"Meri pyaari bacchi," she said, caressing my head and gazing at me lovingly.

"I will miss all of you so much. I know we won't be too far, but now I'll be a Bahu, with new responsibilities. Here, I could be careless because I knew you'd take care of everything, but there, it will be different," I said, turning to close my suitcase filled with old memories.

"I've raised my daughter well. I know she'll take care of her responsibilities well and learn from her mistakes," she said.

"I have learned from the best," I said with a smile.

"Anyway, I came to tell you about tomorrow's plan," Maa Sa said.

"What plan?" I asked.

"Mandira Ji called. She wants us to go wedding shopping together," she replied.

"Umm... Okay. Will Veer be there too?" I asked.

"Besharam Ladki, Dur nahi raha jaata ab?" Maa Sa teased. (Shameless girl, you cant stay away now?)

"No, I just don't want him to see my wedding dress," I said, blushing.

"I know, Bacche. And he won't be there. It'll just be Mandira Ji, Aditi, and Lakshay," she said.
