All his classmates including Dark Shadow who had popped out of the dark abyss to check up on the panicked situation even Aizawa sensei stared at him.

His classmates and sensei blinked at Denki from Shock-Confusion-Processing-Realization and Denki too blinked back at them with twinkling sparkling eyes which indicated a childish innocence which was not lost even in the adversity of  neither bloodlust scary villains nor in front  of the appearance of gooey brain displayed heads of the creepy Nomus.

Suddenly Mineta Minrou screams aloud and says, "Kaminari have you lost your mind!? That's not a normal reaction".

Denki makes an 'oh' face and sarcastically says with a mischief grin, "No no. It's still there sloshing around up there".

Mina Ashido wails dramatically and swoons herself over Sero Hanta's shoulder and says, "We have lost doll-chan to the hellish internship".

On the other hand, Dark Shadow cackles while nudging Tokoyami in the ribcage and whispering softly in gleeful delight, "I want to be near him. I like this joke Toko".

Denki catches Bakugou and Todoroki standing behind his classmates and staring at him with an unreadable gaze. Denki looks at the two boys covered in band aids and winces  at the thought of how tough their supplementary lessons must be going.

Denki takes  sympathy on the two boys and moves towards the two boys to heal them as he knows their injuries were not that serious and he has no chance of fainting by healing minor wounds.

Denki was about to place his hand on Bakugou's shoulder only for his hand to be caught by a scarred hand.

"Don't" says the soft voice of Izuku Midoriya.

Bakugou with an annoyed face looks at Midoriya's tired gloomed face and says, "Che" and walks to his respective seat with his hands in his pockets and sits down.

While Todoroki says with a stoic face without blinking, "Please don't waste your healing powers on us Kaminari-kun. We received these injuries during the supplementary lessons because I had provoked Bakugou while sparring". With that Todoroki too languidly walks back to his seat.

Denki still feels the warmth of the scarred hand around his wrist and fake coughs to get Midoriya's attention as the Greenette boy stared off into space.

Midoriya's dark green eyes look at him with a tired and sad expression.

Denki frowns but does not show it instead he says in a monotone voice, "Do you mind letting go of my wrist?".

Midoriya looks at him in confusion. Then the poor boy's confusion turns into pure horror and he immediately lets go of Denki's wrist and his hands move nervously in the air and mutters sorry so softly that Denki could only hear the last syllable of the word.

Denki sighs. He knew why Midoriya was feeling so down today.

It is because he has  failed to protect and save little Eri-chan yesterday from Overhaul clutches.

Midoriya was feeling anxious on how he  could have made such a grave error by letting the abused runaway child walk back again into the darkened alley with its abuser.

Denki sighs again and pinches both Midoriya's cheeks.

"Ow ow ow Kaminari-kun let go!" says Midoriya with tears gathering in his eyes now.

Denki stares quietly at Midoriya and whispers with a big grin, "Nope".

Midoriya's eyes go wide as Denki goes back to pinching his both cheeks.

While Denki with an amused smile says, "Smile".

"Nani?" asks Midoriya in confusion.

Denki sighs and spells out the word shyly,"S-M-I-L-E Deku-kun".

Midoriya stammers back with his red cheeks and suspicion ringing in voice, "W-w-why are you so adamant to see my smile?. Is this some kind of prank?".

"Just do it" says Denki as his honey golden eyes darken and sparks of electricity could be seen dancing beautifully on his fingertips.

Midoriya gulps in fear and thinks, 'What is wrong with Kaminari-kun today?'.

Midoriya hears Dark Shadow clapping its hand delightfully in interest at the scene in front of him and in a chirpy way says, "Oh Sunshine is such an interesting person!. Toko why can't I always be near Sunshine. He is so funny".

Tokoyami's hair stands up and he tries to hush the dark sentient quirk while Bakugou looks over his shoulder and says in his gruff voice, "Just do what he is saying shitty Deku che". With that remark Bakugou turns around to stare forward at the still on going argument between Aizawa sensei and Hound Dog.

"Fine. I will smile" says a dejected Midoriya finally after some thought and gives a bright wide smile to Denki.

Denki's heart skips a beat at the beautiful smile of his friend and he immediately turns around to hide a lovely pink blush on his face while clutching his cardigan above his heart.

'Midoriya I said smile not give a megawatt smile that could send me to heaven. Are those angels singing? am I dead?' were Denki's thoughts as everything looked sparkling and colorful to Denki's eyes after seeing Midoriya's smile. Even the boring white board looked interesting today.

Suddenly Denki feels a chill running down his spine when Aizawa sensei looks at him with piercing red eyes and says, "Problem chi- kaminari, if Hound Dog does that again come straight to me. I have a score to settle with that mutt".

Denki squeaks like a mouse at the terrified aura Aizawa sensei was emitting and stammers, "H-h-hai sensei".

Then Aizawa sensei's dark expression changes into his tired expression and he says, "I have only five minutes left before the homeroom ends. Everyone take seats I need to take your attendance".

Everyone shuffles back to their respective seats.

While Aizawa sensei was taking attendance. Denki glances at Midoriya and feels kind of glad that the boy looked normal and there was no sign of frustration nor guilt over his face

He looked calm to Denki.

Then begins his first class of the day which was History taught by Midnight sensei. Usually History classes always made the future Denki sleepy but today's topic was an interesting one. It was  about Vigilante Heroes.

Denki was excited to hear much more about this topic. He had taken out all his  colourful pens and his notebook  was open and he was ready to pen down the important points.

Denki's excitement dies when he feels the buzzing of his hospital pager. Denki frowns as today he was on off duty

Did something serious happen?.

Midnight stops her lecture and his classmates stare at Denki in confusion at the ringing sound coming from the unknown device.

Denki shows the buzzing device to Midnight sensei who nods back at him. That he may step out of the classroom.

Denki excuses himself and stands outside the classroom door.

Looks with confusion at the pager on why it was buzzing incessantly. He takes and out reads the message. It seems he is required again back to the trauma centre again due to a shortage of staff members tonight.

He was located in the radiology department and had to be on a  stand-by duty at the trauma department.

It was a simultaneous duty which he had to attend and he knew he would be paid handsomely for doing both the duties. It's not that money mattered to Denki what mattered the most to Denki was focusing on healing those poor people. He needed his healing quirk to be in perfect condition to heal both Midoriya's arms when that dreaded time comes which Denki does want to think about. Anyways his shift starts from 12am to 3am was his timing. So he was on night duty.

But his hands trembled slightly in fear  at the last sentences of the words flashing on the pager. Be Alert. Unknown people are prowling around the trauma centre premises.

Denki felt chills running down his spine just by reading the message as he felt his Healing quirk roaring like a wild beast in his head before it goes eerily quiet.
