[hi, ex-wife!]

Third person's pov

Years passed and they lived separately. Grow separately. Freen is still engaged with Prim, planning to take over the wedding within the year, 5 years ago since Freen last proposed. While Becky and Bright are still in a relationship, leading the company of Bright while it's on the verge of success. In the present time, Freen is having her cup of coffee sitting in her chair, casually taking her break after the almost long day of working. Suddenly, Prim entered the room, with a huge smile visible in her face.

" Hey, love! Guess what? " Prim initiated a conversation as she sat on the couch.

" What? " The girl asked.

" I received an invitation from the University. They are inviting us to join this year's promenade. Since, you are the Campus' unforgettable star, they will be beyond grateful if we make time for this prestigious event. Don't worry, I'll be there. If you allow me to, obviously. " Prim answered.

" I'm not the reigning star, it's been ages, Prim. Why do we need to appear there? It can make us look like we are bragging about our success. " Freen responded before sipping coffee from her cup.

" We are going to be there because the university wants us to be there, not because of some sort of bragging about our millennials. That's not the purpose, okay? C'mon, this is a great opportunity to get along with them. PLUS! There will be a mini reunion after that. Our batch mates were invited as well, as far as I remember. " Prim lure Freen as she walked towards the girl and sat on her lap.

Freen stopped on her tracks as soon as Prim did that. She stares at the girl's body and feels a weird feeling from her body. She gulped as she fixed her necktie before answering the latter.

" I'll be there. I'll check my schedule. When is the promenade? " Freen replied. " Saturday night. " The girl answered.

" Okay, then. I'll be there. As long as... " Freen stopped and holds Prim's waist tightly.

" You'll be there with me. "

" Definitely, sweetheart. So, it is settled then? I'll let them know, that we agreed going? " Prim responded while Freen nodded as her reply.

" Okay, I would get going, since you looked like you can resist me anymore. " Prim teased and winked at the girl, earning a chuckle from Freen.

As soon as the room's door closes, Freen sighed, she's now really in a good state. State where she deserves to live. Right from the very start.

The air in Freen's dressing room buzzed with nervous energy.  Jasmine and lilies, Freen's favorite, perfumed the space, a deliberate attempt to calm her racing heart.  Her black suit felt both magnificent and constricting.  Prim, a vision in blush-pink silk, flitted around her, a whirlwind of helpful chaos. Tonight was the Promenade, a grand affair steeped in tradition and expectation, and Freen, despite her outward composure, felt a tremor of anxiety beneath her carefully applied makeup.  This wasn't just any social event; it was her Promenade, a chance to feel like a college student again.
