YZARIAH ZAMIRA SALAZAR
I was in the middle of a meeting when I saw Mrs. Kavirah Virelle with her wife. They looked stunningly gorgeous together.
They're my business partners, and I'm planning to buy the university they're associated with.
It's part of a larger expansion plan, and honestly, having them onboard would be a huge advantage. Their influence and reputation alone could open doors that money can't.
I tried to stay focused on the documents in front of me, but it was hard not to glance at them every now and then. Kavirah carried herself with such a commanding presence, while her wife softened the atmosphere with a warm smile that could melt even the coldest room.
I smiled to myself.
This deal would be interesting and a little dangerous.
You don't work with people like the Virelles without expecting a few battles... but if handled right, the rewards would be more than worth it.
The meeting continued, the numbers and contracts blurring slightly in my mind, but all I could think about was this: I'm not just investing in a university. I'm investing in a future—one that could change everything.
"You literally became her scholarship sponsor?" Ythara asked, shocked.
I raised an eyebrow at her. "What?"
"Wow, the things you do for love," Ythana interrupted, chuckling.
"Not a problem for me," I said sharply, crossing my arms.
"Well, you are a billionaire, so it's really not a problem for you," Ythara said, laughing.
"Sugar mommy vibes," Ythana teased, making them both burst into laughter.
I just rolled my eyes at them.
I honestly don't know why so many people were offering her scholarships.
I swear—I even fought just to be chosen as her sponsor.
Wow, Zamira. Wow.
I leaned back in my chair, sighing internally. "You guys are exaggerating."
"No, seriously," Ythana said, still giggling. "You're head over heels. We all see it."
"Whatever," I muttered, pretending to focus on the documents in front of me.
But deep down?
Yeah. They're right.
I was willing to pull strings, move mountains, and even outbid other sponsors just to make sure I stayed close to her—even if she had no idea about it.
Pathetic? Maybe.
Worth it? Definitely.
"One day, she's gonna find out," Ythara said, giving me a mischievous look.
"And what? She’ll think I'm a creep?" I said dryly.
"No," Ythana smirked. "She'll think you're madly, hopelessly, crazily in love with her."
