The Arrival Of Ilvermorny

Felix and Fiona left that evening.

Everyone (besides some nasty Slytherins) hoped that them being able to be with their mum and family during this hard time would help matters. They hoped they would be able to get through this.

After all, many students did know how it felt.

It was quite late (probably around nine or ten) when Jasper was making his way back to the Hufflepuff common room. After the Talisman twins had left, he had a quick chat with Harry who was kind enough to bring him his homework and then he sneaked to the Restricted Section of the library to return more books he had borrowed.

He was making his way down the corridor to his common room when someone popped out of a corner, scaring Jasper out of his wits that he pulled out his wand when he realised he had recognized the voice.

A voice that was asking questions.

"Jackson?" Jasper asked.

"Do you know where Fiona is? I think I saw you earlier with her brother and I have no idea where she is or her brother, but I really need to make sure she is okay and you may be wondering why I had not earlier but–"

"Lumos," Jasper whispered.

"–he just got really angry at me and started screaming at me and–"

"Holy shit, your face!" Jasper exclaimed.

Alabaster's face was bruised and there were cuts all over it, most of the blood across his face now dried up. His lip was swollen and Jasper wondered why he didn't find this concerning at all and he just kept talking instead of going to Madam Pomfrey.

"Well, do you know where Fiona is?" Alabaster asked.

"She...she went home," Jasper told him. "Now, let's get you to the infirmary–"

"Oh no," Alabaster said, now feeling awful. "I...I didn't even get a chance to see if she needed anything or...or...I need to write her! I need to see Harry Warbeck so I can write her!"

"But Jackson–" Jasper started but Aabaster was already rushing down the corridor to the Hufflepuff common room door. Jasper quickly caught up with him. "You need to go to the infirmary."

"I will be fine."

Jasper was annoyed that he had said that and even more annoyed that he was reminded of himself. "Jackson–"

"What's the password?"

"I am not telling you until we go to the Hospital Wing."

Alabaster turned to him, his face very clearly on the edge of anger. "If you take me to the Hospital Wing without letting me write a letter to my friend first, I will tell Madam Pomfrey you did this to me."

"That's...kind of Slytherin like, I will give that to you," Jasper said. He sighed, giving in. He had healing supplies in his trunk anyway. "Fine." He walked up to the barrels and knocked the tune to Helga Hufflepuff. It opened. "Mind telling me what happened?" as they entered the common room.

Alabaster opened his mouth to answer but all of sudden there was a loud blaring sound that reverberated throughout the whole common room.

Jasper covered his ears. "What the bloody hell?!"

Alabaster looked quite frightened. "I wish Hoo was here..."

"Who?!"

"HOO!"

Jasper stared at him as the alarms continued to blare. "WHAT?!"

"INTRUDER!!!" a voice screamed out.
