Referenced animal torture.
Alabaster screamed.
He had zero idea what the older blonde kid was going to do, but all he knew was that it wouldn't be good and there was nowhere Alabaster could run as he was up against a wall.
Hoo quickly flew in front of the blonde boy, grabbing his wand with his talons, flying up and out of reach giving an angry hoot. The boy looked back to Alabaster who was still screaming and before he knew it he was trying to get out the door again, but the blonde boy pounced on him and Alabaster smacked him in the face in retaliation.
"LOOK I AM SORRY MY COUSIN DID THAT TO YOUR ACROMANTULA, I DID NOT KNOW THAT! I JUST WANT TO GO HOME, I AM SORRY!!! I WILL HELP YOU WITH YOUR BERARATERA THING IF YOU WANT, PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!"
The blonde boy stopped fighting and stood up, lifting Alabaster up, making Alabaster tense up, but he placed him in a standing position, and the boy steadied him so he wouldn't fall again.
"You really want to help me find a Bemothumatera?" the boy asked.
Alabaster nodded quickly. "Y-Yes. I would l-love to help you."
The older boy still looked sceptical. "Are you sure you're not a Bemothumatera?"
"I am so sure," Alabaster said. "I am a human, and all I want to do is get home, and if me helping you find an actually Bemouthtuna–"
"Bemothumatera," the older boy corrected.
"Yes, that," Alabaster said with a nod, "I will help you...and then maybe you can help me find my way home. See, I don't even know where I am right now, and my owl, Hoo, and I, well we really need to get home."
"No one has ever offered to find a creature with me," the older boy said. "They all say I am odd...insane..." His eyes got far off at that and he grinned. "I take it as a compliment!"
"You...do?" Alabaster asked, surprised.
"Why of course! It'd be a pretty sad grey work if we were all the same, we all need a little bit of craziness in our lives, and wow! I can't believe you want to find an actual Bemothumatera with me!"
Alabaster gave a nervous smile. "And...then you'll find a way to get me home?"
"Hoo!" and he indicated to the floo network, but Alabaster had not noticed.
"Yes! That's the deal," and the older boy picked up the journal, Alabaster's journal, and he immediately felt nervous. Alabaster didn't like when others touched his things, especially not his journal. That was quite special to him.
"Did you draw these?" the blonde boy asked.
Alabaster nodded. "Yes, I did–"
"Incredible! You must help me with the sketches I do of the creatures I have already discovered," he said, thankfully handing Alabaster back his journal. "I need them for the book I am writing."
"Yes, you mentioned..." Alabaster said slowly and he looked over to Hoo who looked perturbed. He sort of understood why. This situation would take a lot longer to get out of than what Alabaster had originally intended to, but the boy looked so eager and excited about searching for mysterious creatures that Alabaster would feel horrible if he turned it down.
"So, let us search then?" Alabaster tried and he started towards the door, but the boy stopped him.
"Oh, not yet," the boy said. "We must put on something that will protect us from the more mischievous creatures out there."
