Suicidal thoughts.

Andy Scott was in the Hospital Wing. She was now awake, her injuries still in the process of healing from the attack. She wanted to say something, she wanted to say everything about what she heard and saw, but she knew that she couldn't.

Madam Pomfrey approached her bed and gave her a kind smile. "You have a few visitors, dear."

Andy looked over, adjusting her big, square glasses to see all her Hufflepuff dormmates plus Jasper. She smiled at the sight of them, glad to have visitors. Again she thought, maybe, just maybe she could tell the truth, unlike what she had told the nurse, but the words played in her mind again.

She couldn't.

"Andy!" Willow exclaimed, rushing up to her best friend. "Are you okay? We heard what happened."

"Bits of it anyway," Wyatt said, his voice actually quiet for once.

"Are you okay?" Elijah asked.

"What happened?" Drew and Ana chorused.

Madam Pomfrey was about to tell them to lay off the questions, but before she could, Jasper's voice broke out, "Guys, she may not want to tell you what happened. She doesn't need to right now. Let her rest."

Andy could see the concern on each of her mates faces and she sighed. "I promise I am okay now."

"Are you sure?" Wendy asked.

She nodded. "I'm sure Wendy."

Jordan held up a plate with a cinnamon roll on it. "Your favourite."

Andy smiled. "Thanks."

"I want to kill that Slytherin," Garrett's voice said.

"Garrett," Jasper's voice was warning.

"What?" Garrett asked, hands on his hips. "Just because you have a bad choice in friends–"

Jasper quickly pulled him aside much to his protest. Once Jasper felt they were far enough, he said in a low voice, "This is not about what my relationship was with the person, trust me, but talking about it, especially right now, it could be triggering. Can you trust me with that? I have...I have dealt with this before," Jasper said, thinking of Harry, and with the thought of him he felt sick. Jasper had not wanted to believe the words when he heard them, how would Harry take them?

Garrett pursed his lips. "Okay. I get it."

"Good," Jasper said. "And I am glad you and Andy are on better terms."

"I am not a bloody monster, you know."

"I know, go on," Jasper said as he watched as Garrett approached the group of first years who were now telling Andy all about their day so far and what to study for the upcoming exams.

They heard the doors to the infirmary open again and Jasper turned and saw Harry standing there, breathing unsteady, looking terrified. "Is she okay?"

"Yes, yes Mr. Warbeck," Madam Pomfrey said quickly while approaching him. "The injuries were not too horrible," she said in a lower voice. "She is on steady recovery and will be released tomorrow morning."

"Oh thank goodness," Harry whispered. He had been so worried that she would have to go to St. Mungo's too, but thankfully she could stay here, thankfully she was well enough to talk to her friends...

But what if it was all an act? What if she wasn't okay?

"Can...can you really make sure she's okay?" Harry pleaded. "Please?"
