Harry was outside on the grass, thinking.

He had wandered through the Hogwarts corridors for a while, just lost and consumed by his own thoughts, anger and sadness about how everything with Alabaster had been a lie. A big lie, and he was trying to keep calm, thinking about how he should have been expecting this as he was related to Theodore Jackson, it should have been expected! He should have been expecting it. And now, on the Hogwarts grounds, he was blaming himself for what had happened as he, Harry, should have been smarter than that.

But he really was just an idiot.

He really had thought they were friends.

But no, he had been tricked.

Or maybe he had not even been tricked, he was just being stupid.

Because he was stupid. His muggle teacher had said it.

He lay on the grass, staring up at the sky, Lou the rat asleep on his chest as he had brought her with him during the day today and a big part of him was thankful because right now he really needed his animal friend.

Harry stroked her little rat head. "Why was I such an idiot..."

He was about to close his eyes when he heard something.

A hoot.

Harry's eyes widened at the sound, but he shook it off, trying to relax. Owls were quite common at Hogwarts. The hoot could have been coming from the sky for all he knew.

There was another one. A more frantic one.

Harry's heart started to race. Why? Why did it have to be that owl? Out of all the owls it had to be his? Harry had thought he was expelled by now. He patted his trouser pocket and felt a sense of relief come over him when he realised his wand was with him. He took it out and sat up, letting Lou now rest on his shoulder.

Alabaster's owl was flying right above him.

Harry quickly got up and started to walk back in the direction of the school, well more so run, but he was not a quick runner, and it didn't even matter because Hoo was in front of his face in seconds and he yelped. "Stop!"

"Hoo!"

"I don't care, go away!" Harry shouted, trying to run off, but Hoo was making it impossible to do so. "Stop it, I don't like you and I don't like him. Both of you stay away from me!"

Hoo grabbed a piece of fabric from Harry's shirt and pulled him along.

"NO!" Harry yelled.

"HOO!"

Harry glared at the owl, but soon realised he was pointing something out. Harry squinted and saw none other than Alabaster Jackson going towards the Forbidden Forest. His eyes went wide. "I thought he was expelled already!"

"HOO!"

"I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE HOOTING ABOUT!" screamed Harry.

Hoo used his wing to indicate to the forest again.

Harry shook his head. "No. No way. I am not helping him out! Not this time. He is being stupid if he is going into that forest again...in fact it's probably a trick to lure me in there, right? Because he hurts people!"

Harry was about to walk away again when something hit him in the face. He winced and looked to the ground to see Alabaster's wand on the grass. He stared at it and looked up at Hoo. "He...doesn't have a wand?"

Hoo shook his head.

Harry still felt scared out of his mind. This had to be a trick. It had to be.

"I...I ca-can't," Harry stuttered out. "With what ev-everyone is s-saying he - he did..."
