The first thing that Travis was met with when he woke up was the side of the bed where Taylor slept. That side of the bed was cold, meaning Taylor must've been up for a while.

Before Travis had the chance to get up or call for his wife, the door opened, and she stepped in. She was still wearing what she went to bed in, red-and-white checkered sleep pants and one of Travis's University of Cincinnati T-shirts.

Taylor was holding a lap desk with two plates on it. One has two waffles stacked on top of each other with butter and syrup. The other plate has fluffy scrambled eggs and four strips of crispy bacon. Completing the meal was a little bowl of
Strawberries and a cup of orange juice with no pulp(after many conversations about how pulp is a disgrace to a nice cup of OJ)

Travis felt his face light up and his smile widen. "I was wondering where you went," he laughed. "I should've known."

"Just because we're married now doesn't mean you don't still get your birthday breakfast in bed!" Taylor replied.

Travis laughed as Taylor walked closer. He got a closer look at the food and his mouth started to water. Taylor gently set the lap desk down on his lap and crawled carefully into bed next to him.

"Wow, sweetie, this looks amazing," Travis said.

Taylor smiled proudly. "I wanted it to be as perfect as possible."

"Well, you absolutely crushed it, sweetie," Travis replied. "You are the best wife ever."

Taylor felt her face heat up. "Well, you're the best husband ever, so I guess we're a great match."

"Hell yeah, we are," Travis replied. He leaned over and placed a soft kiss on Taylor's lips.

The sound of Travis's stomach grumbling broke them apart, and they laughed. "Well, better get to eating."

Travis took a bite of his waffle and instantly groaned in satisfaction. "This is absolutely amazing."

He put another piece into his fork and pushed it towards Taylor's mouth. She took the bite and nodded in satisfaction. "Wow, I'm good."

They both laughed and cuddled closer together as Travis took turns feeding himself and then Taylor, despite Taylor saying multiple times that the food is just meant for him.

"So, when's everyone coming over again?" Travis asked.

"Well, I told everyone to get here around 2 pm, so our parents will probably be a little early. Patrick, Brit, and their kids are gonna get here right on time along with Ross, Abigail, Ashley, and a few other people. And then my brother will probably pop in around 2:30, and we'll be lucky if your brother, Kylie, and the kids get here by 3."

"Yep, sounds about right," Travis laughed. Taylor laughed as well and leaned over to rest her head on Travis's shoulder. "And we're gonna have some snacks out, a nice big cake, and of course some presents!" Taylor explained the majority of the evening.

"I'm getting too greedy, baby. You already gave me the best present in the universe a few months ago, and now there's more! If you don't stop, then I'm just gonna get more and more greedy." Travis replied.

Taylor laughed before furrowing her eyebrows slightly. "What present did I give you a few months ago?" She questioned, since she would've remembered.

"The gift of allowing me to marry you and call you mine forever," Travis replied, and Taylor felt her cheeks heat up.
