Chapter 33

~*~

Just another boring day, I sighed dramatically as I walked through the halls to my next class, which just happened to be drama, with Gai-sensei.

I sighed and walked in as Gai-sensei made an (unnecessary) entrance for me, since we were currently making a copy of Cinderella, you would think I would be Cinderella but nope, I’m the evil stepmother, neat huh, I get wrinkles and have to wear a wig, a very ugly one, by the way.

Sakura and Ino are the evil stepsisters, while Hinata is Cinderella.

Sasuke was the prince, and Kiba was the king.

The rest were in the sidelines.

This was like any other copy of Cinderella, except for one major addition, singing.

Now I had absolutely no singing parts whatsoever, not like it bothered me or anything, I’d rather not sing.

But I’m worried about Hinata and her major lack of confidence.

I turned as I heard music playing,

“daremo inai stage
yume no jikan wa mou maku ga oriteyuku
kinou to onaji
asu wa nido to konai to kidzuku no
RASUTO SHI-N ha itsumo setsunaku utskushii kedo

I stared at Hinata in awe, “wow” I said quietly, same as Eiko.

And here I thought she wouldn’t be able to sing in front of others, she winked at me, that girl, at least her confidence went up.

A few minutes later the bell rang and we all piled out of the school theater.

The group, plus me of course, walked together to our next classes, splitting up along the way.

Eiko and I passed by a brightly colored poster advertising the Black-and-White Dance, to represent Valentine’s Day.

It was also a masquerade ball.

I stared at the poster, so did Eiko, but we weren’t looking at the same thing, I was looking at the two words “No Dates”, that means I can’t go with Kiba.

“Are you looking at the same thing as me?”Eiko asked.

“I dono, are you looking at ‘no dates’” I asked finally blinking.

“You know what this means right?” She asks finally looking at me.

“Yea” I said glumly, walking with Eiko to class.

Sigh.

This sucks
