(Y/n) crossed her arms. "No."

"Come on, (N/n)!" Clint exclaimed. He was looking down to her from an open vent. "It'll be fun!"

She rolled her eyes. "You know it won't."

Hawk-eye snorted. "Oh, spare me!You're an Avenger. Your life is on the line everyday, but you're still scared of one visit? What's changed?"

It was her time to snort. "Were you always that oblivious? You've always had fun because they love you more than me."

He was taken aback. "You know that's not true. Just one visit. Please, for me?"

His pout usually only aggravated her, and now was certainly not an exception.

"I'm not sold on the idea." She replied. Her stance was more defensive, and her heavy breathing did not help.

"The rest of the Avengers are coming too."

(Y/n) barked out a laugh. "You planned all this, didn't you?"

Clint smirked. "I knew you would say no. You're predictable that way."

She scowled, agreeing shortly and then stomping out of the room.
The Avengers around were curious, and almost afraid to approach her until they needed to.

Clint glanced at Bucky, who was asking what had happened. "Family stuff."

He nodded and then turned back to polishing his brand new, ripped-out steering wheel.

Natasha strode in. She was angry. "Barnes, give me my steering wheel back!"

The door opened revealing an kindly couple. An elderly man and woman were beaming.

"Mom! Dad!" Clint said as he hugged them.

(Y/n) was standing behind her brother. The rest of the Avengers were smashed together in the small hallway of the building outside the foster parents' apartment.

"Clinty!" Their mother gushed and hugged him in turn.

The Avengers looked at (Y/n), wondering why she wasn't as happy to see her foster parents as much as Clint was.
She was standing outside quietly, lips pursed at the family.

"(Y/n)? What are you doing here?" Her father asked when he spotted her.

She winced. "Hi, dad."
'Way to greet me after four years, dad.'

Her mother came forward with a bright smile and then whacked her head. (Y/n) yelped.

"That was for not visiting us as much as your brother," she said.
(Y/n) hugged her, and then turned to her father.

"Hello, my love." The older man said as he embraced his adopted daughter. "Who are your- The Avengers!"

The couple stared. They were wonder-struck.

"Mom, dad," (Y/n) muttered. "Meet our friends, the Avengers. Guys, these are our foster parents. They took us in after our biological parents died."

Steve was the first to step forward and hold a hand out. "Sir, it's a pleasure to meet you."

Their father didn't break eye-contact as he shook Steve's hand.

Clint said, "Hello? Dear parents, your children are Avengers too."

Everyone was invited into their home.

Mother Barton bustled into the kitchen. "I'll make some snacks for you all. Please, make yourselves at home."
