39. Just Another Day : Part - 3

"Tony, I'm going to the SHIELD lab to set up the equipment. Bring the rest of the processor when you're done." Bruce announced.

Tony nodded. He was fixing up a processor for a recent prototype of a teleportation device.

Bruce left and Tony continued working until he paused. "I need a motor. ASAP." He said to himself and snapped his fingers.

He ran out of the lab and entered the garage just to see Natasha leave in her SHIELD car. He looked around to see a bunch of cars, but there was also your car, and Bucky's bike.

Pah. He wouldn't touch any of his beauties. And he definitely wouldn't touch yours because he knew how protective you were over it.

That just left the bike.

Tony started tinkering with the car and took out its motor with not much difficulty.

It was heavy, but he didn't care.

He lugged it outside and towards the main door when he heard a crash from above.

Tony looked up to see glass shards and a clear ringing sound.

"Hey, what's tha-?"

BOCRACK!

The flying thing hit Tony on the head and knocked him unconscious. The last thing he remembered was that annoying ringing.

"Tony? Tony!"

Tony could hear a faint voice calling for him. Was it an angel?

His head throbbed, but he still couldn't open his eyes. He fell unconscious again, and his head hit the concrete with a soft thump.

Tony stirred a bit. His eyes refused to open, but he could head muffled sounds. They gradually became clearer, and he felt like his body was suspended on a rope.

Thats when he heard it. Cars honking and a loud crash. His body suddenly jolted and his eyes snapped open.

"What th- Gaah!" He started screaming when realized that he was sitting on a dragon's back.
Mid-scream, you put your head down and looked at him with a poker face.

He immediately shut up and let you carry him to SHIELD.

"Hey, (Y/n)? Why is there a pole blocking the bridge?" He asked.

"Wait! Where is my engine part?! I had it with me before some idiot threw out an alarm clock! Go back, (Y/n)!"

You rolled your eyes and turned around after you got sick of his whining. You reached the Tower, he grabbed the engine part and then mounted your back. You took off immediately.

You finally reached the garage of the SHIELD headquarters, and Tony saw a figure near a water hydrant, literally drenched from head to toe. He couldn't make out the person's face, but then again, I don't think he really cared.

Tony was let loose from your grip, and he landed harshly in the ground.

Without you knowing, your dragon tail swung and whacked him. On the head.

You turned into human form and started freaking out about something. Tony could barely understand because his head was reeling and he could see spots in his vision.

And for the third time that day, Tony went unconscious.

After dreaming about water hydrants and tails, he could finally wake up.
